Kylesku Hotel is an old coaching inn dating back to 1883. We are situated by the old ferry slipway on the shores of Loch Glendhu. Our rooms are furnished to a high standard in a contemporary Scottish style. Our loch facing rooms have fantastic views down Loch Glendhu and the surrounding hills. For those choosing a rear facing or an attic room, do not despair! Whilst your room may not have a view, the views from all our public areas such as the lounge, bar and restaurant all have great views. Happy dogs and well behaved owners are welcome throughout the hotel. As we would not want to see anyone go hungry, we automatically reserve a table for all our residents. You can decide of your preferred time upon arrival.

Terms & Conditions

Rates are per room, per night and include a freshly prepared cooked breakfast.

For group bookings, i.e. 3 or more rooms per party, please contact the hotel directly, as the terms and conditions will vary. We will require full payment for the accommodation 2 months prior to arrival. We do not accept stag or hen parties.

All bookings are subject to receiving valid card details for the duration of the stay. We will confirm your booking by email. Any bookings without a confirmation from the Kylesku Hotel will not be seen as valid.

Children and happy dogs are welcome throughout the hotel. There is a £15 charge per dog, per night up to a maximum of £60 per dog. Children 0-2 years are free . A travel cot is available for £15 for the whole stay, should you require one.

It is possible to place a z-bed in some of our bedrooms at a rate of £40 per night. This includes breakfast. Please contact us directly for details.

Payment Policy

In order to confirm your booking, we will require card details. These must be valid for the whole duration of your stay.

We do not accept Amex or Diners cards.

Parties wishing to book 3 rooms or more per stay must contact the hotel directly as terms and conditions will be bespoke. The full accommodation amount will have to be paid 8 weeks prior arrival.

Cancellation Policy

For cancellation within 4 weeks of arrival, we will charge 25% of the accommodation.

For cancellations, changes or curtailments within 1 week of the start of your stay, we reserve the right to charge the full cost of the accommodation.

Please note that we have a very active waiting list and we will do our utmost to re-let your room. Should we be successful in re-letting your room, we will not charge any cancellation fees.

We strongly advise our guests to take out travel insurance against unforeseen cancellation.

For group bookings of 3 or more rooms, our terms and conditions will be handled on a bespoke basis.

Cancellations must be communicated via email. Failure to notify us of a cancellation will result of the full cost of the holiday being charged.
