Brindleys is our family-owned and run boutique bed & breakfast in the heart of Bath. Brindleys is just a 7-8 minutes walk from the centre of the city but in a peaceful residential location near the Kennet & Avon canal. Our guiding principle is to offer exceptional accommodation and service, to make our guests feel they are ‘home from home’ and to make your stay in Bath to be one you remember. We believe that a few things about a boutique bed and breakfast are key – very comfortable beds, immaculate bathrooms,and a hearty breakfast with plenty of choice, combined with a high standard of service in a convenient location. That is what Brindleys is all about.

With just 6 bedrooms, you can be assured of a warm welcome and friendly, personal service throughout your stay with us. Each of our beautiful bedrooms is individually decorated with an eclectic mix of antique style French furniture and lighting and decorated with cool, calm colour schemes. We have classic doubles to deluxe SuperKing rooms, all with high-standard en-suite facilities and featuring a flat-screen LED Freeview TV, Wi-Fi, hospitality tray, hairdryer and Caroline Henry toiletries.

We offer freshly-prepared traditional English and/or Continental breakfast, as well as fresh berries, fruit, cereals and yoghurt using locally-sourced foods wherever possible, served in our welcoming, light and spacious breakfast room. We offer plenty of choice and variety for breakfast to set you up for the day!

Terms & Conditions

OCCUPANCY
For the avoidance of doubt, please note that the MAXIMUM occupancy for all our rooms is 2 people and that infants and children under the age of 12 are not accepted. Regrettably pets are not accepted.

Payment Policy

Rooms may be reserved online with a valid credit/debit card.

DIRECT BOOKINGS
For bookings made direct with us or on our website, full payment will be taken three days prior to arrival. In the event that a reservation is made under a non-refundable tarriff, payment will be taken at the time of booking.

RESERVATIONS VIA ONLINE TRAVEL SITES
For any booking made through Booking.com, Expedia or any of their affiliates, we will charge the full price of the booking to the card you provided with your reservation 3 days before your arrival date. Should your card be declined, please be aware that your booking will be cancelled. We regret we have had to introduce this policy due to a very significant rise in the number of last minute cancellations and 'no shows' we have seen in recent times and where the guest's card is declined for payment,

GROUP BOOKINGS
Group bookings for 3 or more rooms. To secure a group booking we require valid credit/debit card details and a non-refundable deposit of 10% of the total booking cost.

Please note that we operate a 72 hr cancellations policy, full details of which are on our website.

ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE
Check-in time - our standard check-in times are between 14:00 and 19.00 hours. If you wish to arrive before 14.00, we will do our best to arrange a check-in or hold your luggage until your room is ready. If you expect to arrive after 19.00, please ask us for details of our late arrival key-safe facility.

Check-out time - before 11:00 hours

PRICES
Room rates shown on our website are per room, per night and include breakfast, WiFi, parking and VAT. Room rates are subject to change.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be made by email or telephone at least 72 hours prior to your planned arrival date to receive a refund of your booking deposit. In the event of you cancelling a booking, we will send a confirmation email to you.
If you cancel less than 72 hours before your due arrival date or not arrive at the hotel (‘no show’), we will charge your credit/debit card with the FULL value of your booking. In the event of bad weather conditions, Brindleys will fully apply our cancellation policy, as above.

For group bookings, if the whole or part of a group booking is cancelled less than seven days ahead of the due arrival date, 100% of the cost (less the deposit) will be charged to your card.
