***SPECIAL CANCELLATION POLICY FOR AUGUST: All August bookings must be cancelled more than 28 days prior to 2pm on the arrival date, to receive a 90% refund. If it is less than 28 days in advance, no refund will be given. No shows will be charged the full amount of the booking.
***SPECIAL CANCELLATION POLICY FOR NEW YEARS / HOGMANAY: All New Years / Hogmanay reservations must be canceled 7 days in advance prior to 2pm on the arrival date to receive a 90% refund. If it is less that 7 days in advance, NO REFUND WILL BE GIVEN. FAILURE TO SHOW WILL RESULT IN THE FULL AMOUNT OF YOUR RESERVATION BEING CHARGED.
CHECK IN/OUT PROCEDURES
Check in is from 2.30pm but early arrivals are welcome to store their luggage and use the hostel facilities and common areas.
All guests are required to sign in and have valid photo identification for check in. Acceptable forms of identification are passport or drivers licence.
Check out is at 10.30am – the room must be vacated and keys returned by this time.
For bookings of 6 or more people, you must contact the hostel directly at firstname.lastname@example.org . If you make a group booking online, your booking may be cancelled.
We do not accept stag and hen parties.
Accommodation is in bunk style dormitory rooms ranging from 4 – 16 beds in each room unless a double, triple or quad room has been booked. All bunks are individually named and will be allocated upon check in at the hostel. Please ensure that you use the specific bunk allocated to you.
Each bunk is provided with a locker and safe for valuables. A refundable deposit of £10 or a valid passport or driving licence will be required for the locker/dorm room keys.
All guests must be aged 18 or over.
The hostel reserves the right to refuse entry to anyone who behaves in an unacceptable manner or is in an unsuitable condition eg. drunk and disorderly. In such circumstance no refund of deposit will be offered.
Our hostel operates a strict no smoking policy. Anyone found smoking within the premises will be asked to leave, with no refund offered.
Although the hostel is not licensed to sell alcohol, guests may consume alcohol on the premises but within reason. Anyone heavily under the influence and causing a disturbance in the hostel will be asked to leave immediately.
The amount equal to the first will be charged at the time of booking. The balance is payable at check in on your arrival date.

Regular cancellation policy:
Cancellations up to 48 hours prior to 2.00pm on the day of check-in receive a 90% refund.
If it is less than 48 hours in advance, then you will be charged the amount equal to the first night of your stay.
No-shows may be charged the entire amount of their stay.
