Check-in is totally reimagined at the Stables. Gone are the days of long lines, queues, ringing phones & hotel desks. Instead, check-in begins inside the Thirsty Pony, Sandusky’s most popular restaurant & lounge. A friendly registration ambassador greets each guest & personalizes the experience with a brief tour & walk-through.
Guests discover several bonus amenities not found in traditional hotels. Sleep masks, lavender aromatherapy mist, local snacks & goodies, domestic beers & wine are not just part of the entire experience. They’re included at no additional charge!
Every room offers comfortable accommodations for both couples & families visiting the Lake Erie Shores. Each room features themed decor with stoned-fireplaces, modern wood floors & recessed ceilings with wood beams as well as a 55-inch flat-screen television, a microwave, mini fridge & complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi.

Terms & Conditions
ROOM RATES. Room rates are listed per room per night. Room rates are quoted without taxes. Guests are responsible for ALL current tax rates.
CHECK-IN & CHECKOUT TIME. Check-in time is between 4pm & 10pm every day. Check-out time is by 12pm. Check-ins cannot be processed before or after our check-in period. Unfortunately, we are unable to honor early check-in or late arrival requests.
PET POLICY. No Pets Allowed.
OCCUPANCY POLICY. Must have at least 1 adult 21 years or older in each room.
SMOKING POLICY. Our hotel is 100% smoke-free. If smoke is detected in your room or in any public area during your stay, there is a $250 fee assessed to your credit/debit card.
PROPERTY DAMAGES & PERSONAL PROPERTY. You are responsible for any damages to the property caused by you or persons occupying your guest room. We are not liable for any personal property that is lost, damaged, stolen or left behind.
EARLY DEPARTURES. There is a $75 plus tax early departure fee for any unscheduled early departures beyond the check-in date. An early departure fee may only be charged if a guest checks out of the hotel prior to the guests' scheduled departure date without having notified the Inn at check-in of the change in scheduled departure.
USE POLICY. We are a small boutique hotel that caters to couples & families. Loud noises, property damage or disturbances may result in eviction & forfeiture of refunds.
Payment Policy
CHARGES & INSUFFICIENT FUNDS: We charge ALL credit/debit cards prior to arrival. We are not responsible for any bank overdraft charges due to insufficient funds.
BALANCES & PAYMENTS: All balances are paid in advance. Balances must be paid by credit card. We accept all major credit cards. Cash payments cannot be accepted at this time.
Cancellation Policy
CANCELLATION POLICY: Cancellation is FREE when you cancel your reservation(s) at least 7 DAYS prior to your arrival. The first night's rate plus taxes is charged after the cancellation deadline.
