The Circle Bar B Guest Ranch is a family-owned ranch located in the mountains of Santa Barbara County. Located just 25 minutes north of downtown Santa Barbara, the property is situated in scenic Refugio Canyon, just 3.5 miles from the Pacific Ocean. Set on over 1,100 acres of Private Land, the ranch invites you to relax, unplug, unwind, and enjoy the stunning natural scenery. The Circle Bar B Ranch has over 18 different guest accommodations that range from private rooms to large family-style cabins. All of our rooms include meals for our guests (breakfast, lunch, and dinner), and provide you an opportunity to enjoy our hearty homemade meals made from scratch with fresh and local ingredients with your family and friends.

The property includes our main lodge, full bar, library, indoor dining room, game room, billiards, outdoor fire place, hiking trails, outdoor pool and hot tub, stables and horseback riding tours, and more!

Guests must notify the Circle Bar B Ranch of any DIETARY RESTRICTIONS OR FOOD ALLERGIES before arrival.

All guest accommodations and ranch facilities are NON-SMOKING

Guest Accommodations include Meals (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner), starting with DINNER the day you check in and ending with BREAKFAST the day you check out. LUNCH is not included the day of arrival or the day of departure.
DINNER is served everyday at 7 PM
BREAKFAST is served everyday at 8:30 AM

Dinner may not be included for reservations made the same day as date of arrival.

We have HORSEBACK RIDING tours and MASSAGE services available for you during your stay. Please call or email us to add these to your reservation. We recommend all massage appointments are made at least 72 hours in advance.

NO PETS ALLOWED due to horses and other wild animals on the property. Service Animals are permitted. Please notify the ranch in advance if you will be bringing a Service Animal.

We have FREE WI-FI in the main lodge. Due to our location in a canyon, There is NO CELL PHONE SERVICE on most of the ranch property. Our accommodations do not have telephones or Wi-Fi.

We have a full-service bar and our liquor license does not allow guests to bring their own alcohol to the property. We kindly ask that you do not bring your own alcohol to the property and instead enjoy wine, beer, and cocktails available for purchase from our bar.

The closest store or gas station is about 25 minutes from the ranch property. We recommend bringing any medications, snacks for between meals, or toiletries with you to the ranch. We recommend having at least a half-tank of gas when leaving the Santa Barbara area (if you are driving north to us) or the Buellton area (if you are driving south to us) on your way to ranch property.

Some paths and walkways on the ranch can get dark at night, so we recommend bringing a flashlight with you.

Payment Policy

The Circle Bar B Ranch will collect a deposit payment equal to the first night's stay to make and hold a reservation.

Full payment and any Outstanding Payments are due upon check-in.

Incidentals/Extras such as drinks from the bar or horseback riding will be paid upon check-out. Circle Bar B reserves the right to charge the card on file for any unpaid incidentals, damage, or charges.

Cancellation Policy

A deposit equal to 1 night's stay is required to hold a reservation. If a reservation is cancelled in excess of 30 days, the deposit is refundable less a 25% booking fee.

Any deposit payments are non-refundable within 30 days of scheduled arrival.

Any payments or deposits made for wedding reservations are subject to a 90-day cancellation policy. Any group reservations are subject to a 60-day cancellation policy. Any reservations for holidays are subject to a 45-day cancellation. Packages are subject to a 45 day cancellation policy.
