Terms & Conditions

General Terms and Conditions apply to all guests of City Stay Scotland.

Where bookings are made for arrivals of less than 28 days, the full amount is charged at the time of booking. Where the arrival date is longer than 28 days a 50% deposit rate is charged at the time of booking with the remainder due on the date of arrival.

Any additional requests such as welcome basket, champagne etc are charged in full at the time of request.

For bookings made for peak times of the year as defined by City Stay Scotland these are non-refundable rates and you will be advised at the time of booking if your travel dates are at our recognised peak times.

Our occupancy levels are defined in the room description but to clarify, Comfort Double Rooms are for a maximum of 2 people, Deluxe Doubles are for a maximum of 3 people and our Suite is a maximum of 5 people. Should more guests be found to be in the rooms then a person rate of £100 per night per additional guest will be charged.

On arrival you are required to advise City Stay Scotland if you are unwell or have any COVID related symptoms, this is to ensure yours and other guests welfare and safety.

Rooms are subject to availability and City Stay Scotland reserves the ultimate right to amend or change the room type.

Check in is between 4pm and 9pm, if you are arriving outside these times then please contact us in advance to make us aware. Early check ins cannot be guaranteed and it is recommended for you to contact us prior to your arrival. Check out is strictly 10am on the day of departure. Where a guest has not arrived at the premises or advised of a late arrival by 6pm then City Stay Scotland reserve the right to charge for the booking in full and advertise the room as available.

Luggage storage is not available at the premises.

All room types are Room Only, we do offer a complimentary 'Breakfast to Go'. City Stay Scotland reserves the right to remove this product at any time.

We are a Home Stay establishment and as such we would ask all guests to be respectful of the house, owners and other guests and be mindful of the noise in the house and in the boundaries of the property. City Stay Scotland reserves full right to ask any guest to leave the premises if they are disrupting the Owners, Other Guests or Neighbours.

We are a non smoking establishment and smoking is not allowed anywhere inside the building. For rooms with balconies we remind guests to be mindful when disposing of cigarettes and do not throw them into the garden areas.

Free on street parking is available in the area outside the property and vehicles are parked at the owners risk. City Stay Scotland takes no responsibilty for any vehicles parked.

Where damage or additional cleaning is required on a Guests departure then the card held on our system will be charged at the rate of replacement of any goods damanged or destroyed or at an additonal cleaning fee of £100 per room.

Payment Policy

When a reservation is made within the next 28 days from the date of booking the full booking value will be charged at the time of booking.

When a booking is made outside the next 28 days then a 50% deposit will be taken.

Deposits and Fully paid bookings can be canceled free from date of booking until 7 days from the date prior to the arrival date.

For any additional items or requests these must be paid for at the time of booking and fall outside the Payment Policy of Ciy Stay Scotland.

Cancellation Policy

Cancelations are FREE from the day of booking up to 7 days prior to the day before your arrival day.

From 7 days from the day before your arrival date the amount due is 50% of the entire booking cost.

Cancelation on the day of arrival will be charged at the full booking value.

There are some room rates and peak periods (as defined by City Stay Scotland) that are fully non refundable and these are well noted on the booking system and platforms used to make the booking.
