Property Information
The Coast Lodge
We are a Family-run guesthouse, self-catering accommodation and restaurant called The Coast Lodge.
Where we are. The Coast Lodge is situated directly opposite the Atlantic ocean at Spanish Point beach. All of the rooms in the guesthouse look out either onto the beautiful wild waves or onto the picturesque Spanish Point golf course.
We are located just four minutes drive from the pretty and welcoming town of Miltown Malbay – famous for its traditional Irish music.
All of our rooms and self-catering units are en-suite and furnished to the highest levels of comfort and style.
We do great food. Our award winning chef prepares a varied menu using the freshest local seafood, seasonal vegetables, local cheeses and organic meat. Pop by for breakfast, lunch, dinner or a light bite.
We do chilled out drinks. Our cosy restaurant features a wide variety of wines and beers. Our outdoor seated terrace is the perfect spot to enjoy an evening drink as you watch the sun go down over the ocean waves.
We do relaxation. Our warm and spacious rooms are fitted out with king size beds, big comfy couches, and feature stunning views of the West Clare landscape and coastline. We do adventure. If you’re looking for something a bit more fast-paced, The Coast Lodge is a perfect choice too! Spanish Point beach, with its beautiful, powerful waves is superb for surfing. We are located right next to Spanish Point Golf Course, and there are numerous walking and cycling trails close by. We also organise adventure and wellness breaks throughout the year. Terms & Conditions
Bookings can be made by writing a request to the Guest House's e-mail address thecoastlodge@hotmail.com or by filling out the necessary information on the Guest House's website www.coastlodge.ie to send the reservation request, or by other reservation websites (online reservation systems). To book a room at The Coast Lodge, the guest must electronically notify the administration the exact room name, accommodation period, guest's name, phone number, e-mail address and guest's credit card number, its expiration date and the last 3 digit Card Security Code, thus guaranteeing the payment for booked services in case of late cancellation or no-show. The Coast Lodge accepts Visa, MasterCard, Maestro credit cards for the payment. The reservation can be guaranteed only by providing the guest's credit card details or by making a prepayment (not later than 7 days prior to arrival). In case of unguaranteed reservation, The Coast Lodge keeps the right to sell the room to another person.
Payment Policy
The payment must be made during check-in or check-out time and is payable by cash or by credit card. If the guest does not pay for his stay, The Coast Lodge has the right to charge from the client's credit card the full amount of the stay. The guest can make a prepayment not later than 7 days prior to arrival.
Cancellation Policy
Should you need to cancel or amend any details please let us know by 12 am 7 days prior to arrival. Cancellation made after this period will incur a penalty equal to the accommodation cost for the first night and will be charged to the credit card you have kindly provided. There are no exceptions for early check-outs, inclement weather or no-shows.
