Welcome to the Cutty Sark! Nestled in the heart of Virginia Beach’s serene North End, the Cutty Sark Motel & Historic Cottages are the perfect destination for your family vacation. Our full efficiencies and spacious apartments will quickly feel like your summer home away from home, leaving you more time to explore the oceanfront and enjoy your Virginia Beach vacation! We are just 5 minutes from the Virginia Beach Convention Center. From your efficiency's private balcony, watch the sun rise over the Atlantic's dolphin playground while enjoying breakfast and coffee made at your own fully equipped kitchenette. Your feet won't have far to travel beyond your front door before they’re strolling among the boutiques on Atlantic Avenue or dipping into the warm sand and cool surf. We provide parking for only one vehicle per unit. On street and Garage parking nearby.. Our little Hotel is small. There is a specific number of persons in each reservation. For comfort, safety, security and health reasons, only those listed are permitted to be on the property. This property is not for entertaining guest. We are just too small for that.

Virginia Beach festivities, beach volleyball, Beach Street USA musicians and performers, cafés and ice-cream cones are all along the famous boardwalk right across the street. Gorgeous bike trails nearby lead you safely all the way to the Virginia Aquarium and First Landing State Park. Plan your vacation around one of the many spectacular Virginia Beach events held every year such as the Boardwalk Art Show, the NAS Oceana Air Show, North American Sand Soccer Championships, and a local favorite - the incredible Neptune Festival. The Virginia Beach Convention Center, home to competitive events , wrestling, cheerleading, dance , etc, is but 5 minutes away. Terms & Conditions

For Personal Comfort, Health and Safety reasons the maximum number of persons
in Efficiency Units is two (2). Children and infants are included in that number.

Each of our Cottage units list a Maximum Number of persons, that number includes adults, children and infants.

Persons under 21 must be with a parent.

For reasons of comfort, safety, health and security the number of persons in your unit should never exceed the maximum you have listed.
We do require the names of all persons occupying the Cottages and efficiencies.

Our cottages and efficiencies are not to be used for inviting and/or entertaining unregistered guests. Should anyone else other than the registered guests be identified occupying any of our rental properties, we reserve the right to immediately terminate the rental agreement with no refund.

Photo ID is required at check-in for the person confirming the reservation. Credit card holder must register for accommodations and must present credit card at check-in. Reservation request must include full address of applicant and a current phone number.

Cleaning/housekeeping services apply for our motel efficiency rooms. Notwithstanding your use of a sign on your door, a request by you to forego housekeeping services or any other request made by you, the hotel and its staff reserve the right to enter your room for any purposes including, but not limited to performing maintenance and repairs or checking on the safety and security of guests and property. The hotel will give reasonable notice prior to entry by knocking and announcing the intent to enter the room.

We can only provide parking for one vehicle per unit. On street and Garage parking are near-by.

We reserve the right to cancel any reservation for failure to abide by rules.

Payment Policy

To confirm your reservation you will be charged a prepayment of 50% of the total price of the reservation, and the remaining balance will be charged 30 days before arrival.

Full address of credit card holder is required. Cardholder must register at check-in. Invalid credit card numbers will cancel your reservation. Charges will be processed on credit cards at anytime after request for reservations are made .

For Beach Cottage's, a security deposit of $300.00 will also be charged which is fully refunded if the unit is left as you found it - clean and in good repair.

We can accept MasterCard , VISA and American Express. There is a 5% processing fee .

The Beach Cottage's are self catering. The beds will be made with fresh ironed sheets. Bring your bath and beach towels and paper products.

Cancellation Policy

You will be charged 50% of the total price of reservation if you cancel after reservation is made, and you will be charged the total price of reservation if you cancel in the 30 days before arrival.

We reserve the right to cancel any reservation for non compliance.
