MIJU Hotel in Edinburgh was built in 1836 and was originally a manse house for the church next door.
It has converted into a guest house around 30 years ago, but still incorporates the same stained glass window and symbols found in the church.

MIJU Hotel is perfectly located as it is in walking distance from Edinburgh city centre and Haymarket Rail Station.

Making the ideal location for accessing the City and its attractions, including Murrayfield Stadium, Edinburgh Zoo, Edinburgh Castle, Princes Street (Edinburgh’s main shopping street), The Royal Mile and the Royal Yacht Britannia.

Accessible from West Coates Road, and just a 15-minute walk from Princes Street, 1.5 miles from Edinburgh Castle.
Haymarket Train Station is a 5-minute walk away, and the airport shuttle bus stops just outside our place.

CHECK-IN
We are offering self-check-in.
The Key will be placed into a key box. We will send you all information either by phone/email.

VAT is included in all prices.

PARKING
Online reservation thru YourParkingSpace is required.

HOUSE KEEPING
There isn't a daily housekeeping service.
If you are staying for more than 7 nights there will be a mid week clean.
An additional charge will apply for daily housekeeping.

ALLOWANCES
No allowances can be made for rooms not being occupied for the full period of the booking or for meals or any other supplements not taken.

VALUABLES
The proprietor cannot be held responsible for cash or valuables unless they are deposited in the Hotel Reception and a receipt obtained.

FIRE SAFETY
The Hotel is up to date with its fire precautions and has been granted a fire certificate.

DAMAGES
The costs of repairing any damage caused to the property, contents or grounds by any of your guests must be reimbursed to the Hotel by the Client. We have the right to charge the card used to make the booking to cover such costs.

SPECIAL OFFERS
Special offers cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer, and if conditions are not met the standard tariff will apply.

BEHAVIOUR
The behaviour of guests and their visitors should not be excessive or rowdy, and must not cause embarrassment to fellow guests. We reserve the right to recover any compensation payment as a result of your actions, or a member of your party or visiting friends. This includes damage to hotel buildings, fixtures and fittings.

GROUP BOOKINGS
Please inform us before arrival if you are travelling in a group of six or more. We reserve the right to refuse unauthorized groups. Large groups may be required to provide an additional deposit at check-in, returnable on departure if unaffected. Should there be any inappropriate behaviour by the group after check-in we reserve the right to discontinue the reservation without a refund.

SMOKING
The hotel operates a strict no smoking policy. If a guest smokes in their room a charge of £250 will be made to their credit/debit card in order to fumigate the room(s), at the discretion of the hotel management.

PARTIES
All parties including stag and hen parties are strictly forbidden at the hotel & Apartments. The hotel/Apartments is for accommodation purposes only. If any such parties are identified, all monies will be confiscated and booking will not be honoured.

USE OF YOUR DATA
By booking with us you give the Hotel full permission to use your contact information including email and telephone for promotional, marketing and correspondent purposes. All communications from us will come with an opt-out option allowing you to be removed from further communications at any time.

AGE
Bookings must be made by a person over the age of 18. At least one guest staying in each room must be over 18 years of age. We reserve the right to refuse accommodation without a refund when a guest cannot provide proof of age.

LUGGAGE HOLD SERVICE
The Hotel is able to hold your luggage at the hotel until 5 pm on the day of checkout free of charge. If you wish to keep luggage at the hotel after this time there will be a £10 per item per day charge applied.

PARKING FACILITIES DURING RUGBY MATCHES
During the rugby matches, our car park is not available.

Payment Policy

CREDIT CARD
A credit card is required to confirm all reservations and a valid card must be supplied at check- in for all arrivals. We accept all major credit cards.

OUTSTANDING BALANCES
All guests are required to settle all outstanding balances before they leave. If balances are not settled prior to leaving the hotel they will be settled using your valid credit card left for your deposit.

NON REFUNDABLE ROOM RATE - The guest will be charged in Full Price if they cancel the booking anytime.
