IS THERE A CLEANING FEE?
Yes, there is a $75.00 cleaning fee per booking. We ask that you clean the dishes you use before checking out. If the cottage or its contents have been damaged or misused, we reserve the right to charge you for extra cleaning costs or replacements purchase if needed by charging the credit card on file. You will be notified in advance, in such event.
ARE CHILDREN ALLOWED TO STAY AT ENCHANTED COTTAGES?
Yes, 1-2 small children are allowed to stay in the Hollyhock Cottage as long as you indicate this in your reservation. The Captain's Cottage is adult only.
All children staying at Enchanted Cottages must be supervised by an adult at all times. Children may not be left alone in the cottages or on the Enchanted Cottages property. We ask that, in consideration for other cottage guests, noise be kept to a minimum. Parents will be liable for any damage caused to the cottage or to the Enchanted Cottages premises or property, or extra cleaning needs caused by their children.
ARE PETS ALLOWED?
Yes, the Enchanted Cottages is dog-friendly! You are allowed to bring 1 large dog or 2 small dogs. Reservation fees for dogs are a flat $30.00/per booking. Dog reservations must be made at the time of reservation or no less than 3 days prior to check-in. Please read our dog-friendly policy at https://www.enchantedstay.com/dog-friendly/. There is no charge for Certified ADA-compliant service animals.
WHAT ARE THE CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT TIMES?
Check-in time is 4:00pm. Check-out time is 11:00am. For an early check-in or a late check-out, email or call us a day in advance of check-in. If possible, we will accommodate you.
HOW DO WE ACCESS THE COTTAGE UPON ARRIVAL?
Upon final payment and four days prior to your arrival, a key code will be emailed to you.
DO YOU HAVE INTERNET?
Yes. We have free secure high speed wireless for your own devices.
DO YOU HAVE CABLE TV?
Yes, basic cable.
CAN WE SMOKE OR BBQ OR GRILL MEATS IN THE COTTAGE?
No. If smoke or heavy odors are detected in the cottage, an automatic $200 deodorizing fee will be charged to the credit card on file. Smoking is allowed outside on the property as long as it does not bother other guests. Ashtrays provided in outdoor areas. No BBQ or grilling or open fires are permitted anywhere on the property.
CAN WE CLEAN OR COOK CLAMS OR FISH AT THE COTTAGES?
Sorry, no. Due to odors and hygiene concerns for the next arriving guests. We can recommend professional clam and fish cleaning businesses or wonderful restaurants for eating.
ARE THERE QUIET HOURS AT ENCHANTED COTTAGES?
Yes, quiet hours are 10:00pm to 9:00am although because of the close proximity of the cottages, guests should be considerate with noise levels at all times.

Payment Policy

IMPORTANT: You must provide accurate billing information when you make your reservation. The name on the card must be the name of one registered guest. If your card cannot be processed for any reason You must contact us within 48 hours and provide corrected information. Otherwise, your reservation will be cancelled and the dates released after 48 hours from the declined email. You are welcome to rebook with corrected information if the dates are still available. Second- or third-party payment will be accepted only with specific approval from the person paying for the reservation and verified to us by email or registered mail.

If your arrival date is AT or LESS than 21 days from the date of booking, the full amount due, including sales tax, will be charged to your credit card.

If your reservation is made MORE than 21 days prior to the check-in date, the first night's rental fee and sales tax will be charged on the booking date. The balance due will be charged 21 days prior to arrival.

Your credit card on file serves as your security/damage deposit.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled MORE than 21 days prior to arrival date, your deposit will be refunded, less a $25 card processing fee.

After final payment has been made, AND ONLY IF WE CAN RE-RENT the cottage for all or part of your reservation dates, we will refund you the difference between the rent collected and the amount you paid, less the $25 card processing fee. If we cannot re-rent the cottage, the entire amount paid is not refundable.
