TERMS & CONDITIONS

Please read these terms and conditions carefully as you will be bound by them. A contract between you and The George Inn will come into existence on the date on which you reserve a room with us. Your contract is with The George Inn.

BOOKINGS AND CANCELLATIONS

Full payment on all bookings is required in advance. We operate a 48-hour cancellation policy. Cancellations must be made in writing by email or letter at least 48 hours prior to the arrival date.

ROOM RATES

Our rates start at £100 per room.

Our rates are as follows:

Rooms 1 to 6: £100 per room Sunday to Thursday and Friday & Saturdays £110
Room 7: £110 per room Sunday to Thursday and Friday & Saturdays £120
Please note, room rates are subject to change.

We welcome families and can accommodate a travel cot or children’s bed in room 1. You are more than welcome to bring your own travel cot or bed to accommodate.

Our maximum occupancy per room is as follows:

Rooms 1: x 2 people – plus room for a travel cot or a children’s bed (up to 10 years)
Room 2 to 7: x 2 people

Please note, Room 1 also has disability access with a large and wheel-chair friendly en-suite. Disabled guests that require wheel chair access.

CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT

Check-in is from 2pm. With prior arrangement we may be able to accommodate an earlier or much later check-in if necessary, please call us to confirm.

Please check-in at our bar in The George Inn pub.

Check out is 11am. Please leave your key card in the letter box outside your room when you leave.

DISABILITY ACCESS

We invite our guests to discuss their specific needs in advance of their booking in order to give us the possibility to assist and establish whether our property will be suitable for their needs.

Please note, Room 1 has disability access with a large and wheel-chair friendly en-suite.

PARKING

You are welcome to leave your car in our car park, subject to availability.

Cars and their contents are parked entirely at the car owners’ risk.

DAMAGE

We reserve the right to make a charge of up to £250 for any damage caused to a room by a guest, this includes damage caused by spillage or vomiting sickness.

SMOKING

The George Inn is a strictly non-smoking and non-vaping establishment. Smoking or vaping is prohibited anywhere in the buildings (The George Inn pub and rooms) and courtyard.

Should you smoke in your room our fire system will trigger and we will charge you £150 to your card for having to undertake a deep clean of your room.

PETS

Please note, The George Inn pub is dog-friendly but we don’t cater for dogs in our rooms.

KEEP SAKES

Should any items be removed from our rooms, such as ornaments, accessories, appliances etc we reserve the right to charge the relevant amount to the credit card the room was booked with.

BAR TABS

Any tab set up for drinks or food at The George Inn pub during your stay will be billed to the credit card used to book your room if not settled before your departure.

REGISTRATION AND DATA PERMISSION

We are required by law to maintain a register of our guests. Residents of the United Kingdom shall provide their full names and nationality. All other guests must provide their full name, passport number, place of issue and details of their next destination. We may retain this information for up to 12 months.
