You have chosen a unique way to travel. The Bed and breakfast Hat Home offers a unique experience that is different from a standard hotel.
Please read the following carefully!

TO MAKE A RESERVATION: complete the secure Reservation Form online. Even if you call us by phone, the reservation will be considered effective just upon a proper online confirmation.

CHECK IN AND CHECK OUT: Please notify your host at least 3 days prior to arrival. It is possible you will not gain entry when you arrive if your time is not confirmed. Normal check in is 2 – 7 p.m. - check out is 11 a.m.
If you need assistance with early luggage drop-off or late pick-up, please contact the agency for instructions. If you do not vacate your room or apartment by 11 a.m. you will be charged 50% of one night. If you do not vacate by 4 p.m. you will be charged one entire night(s) and any costs incurred to compensate a guest who has reserved the night(s) of/after your departure date and any subsequent nights.

KEYS: Missing keys are a security issue. There is a $50 fine for any set of missing keys. If keys are missing when you arrive, please contact the manager immediately so that you are not held responsible. If you forget to leave keys in appropriate places and we have to deliver one, there is a $50 courier fee.

CLEANING SERVICE: Hat Home B&B offers daily partial cleaning. (Bathroom, reset of beds, floor). Sheets are changed weekly and towels twice a week. You will find the unit perfectly clean when you arrive and it will be cleaned when you depart. Extra cleanings as a LAUNDRY SERVICE are available for a fee.

CLEANLINESS: Guest shall maintain the rented premises in a clean and orderly condition. If we incur additional cleaning charges, we will add the amount to your rate.

DISTURBANCE: Hat Home is a residential building. In consideration of neighbors and other guests, please watch your volume in the external area. Guests shall not make any unlawful, noisy or otherwise offensive use of the rented premises, nor commit or permit any nuisance to exist thereon, nor cause damage to the rented premises, nor create any substantial interference with the rights, comfort, safety, or enjoyment to the owner or other guests.

HIGH SPEED WI-FI INTERNET is provided.

PETS: Hat Home is proudly Pet Friendly. Because we are aware about allergies, please let us know if you would prefer a room with no pets on the premises.

SMOKE: Smoking in the rooms is not permitted, unless in the dedicated areas (such as the external patio.) Extra charges will be incurred if this policy is not honored.

ACCESSIBILITY: The owner or agency may enter the room/unit during the day or early evening when there is a concern for the unit and at any time when there is an emergency. For monthly stays the owner or agency may enter the room/unit to show it to a prospective guest with a 24-hour notice.

BREAKFAST: Please note in the B&B Hat Home there is NOT a served breakfast. You will find a rich basket with fruits, milk, Biscuits, toasts, jam, coffee & tea maker in each room. Private furnished apartments have kitchens or kitchenettes to cook even your own food.

ELEVATOR: As elevators are rare in such a historic building, please note we have one on site, activated only by a special key. Be aware not all the rooms are wheelchair accessible.

LUGGAGE SERVICE: So sorry, we do not have luggage service.

TOURIST TAX: Please note the city of Monza has a Tourist Tax

Payment Policy

PAYMENT PROCEDURES: We require a deposit equal to 50% plus any applicable taxes or fees. Full payment is required two weeks prior to arrival during standard times and one month prior to arrival during special event times and for monthly reservations. We accept MasterCard, Visa and Discover. We require a credit card to make a reservation.

Cancellation Policy

STANDARD CANCELLATION POLICY: (January through August, October, November and December except special event dates).
If you cancel between two weeks to 24-hours prior to your arrival date, you are responsible for 50% of each of those nights not rebooked. If you cancel within 24 hours, the first cancelled night is non-refundable. The policy applies to shortened stays. If you shorten your stay during occupancy, the cancellation policy applies plus one night is non-refundable.

EVENT CANCELLATION POLICY: (September, and during Italian Festivities) Your reservation is non-refundable for those nights not rebooked. This policy applies to shortened stays. If you shorten your stay during occupancy, the cancellation policy applies plus one night is non-refundable.

ONE NIGHT CANCELLATION POLICY (anytime): Must be paid in full in advance and is non-refundable.
