Policies

We are a family operated business. Our goal is to give each of our guests the best getaway as possible. We ask that you read the policies below and email us with any questions you may have. Thank you

We are a SELF-catering accommodation, "eat what you like, when you want it, where you like". There is a kitchenette in each suite which includes: induction cooktop, microwave and cooking dishes. A BBQ is also available on the patio of each suite for your personal use. Please be sure to turn the propane tank off under the BBQ after each use.

Check-in: is 3:00pm
Please text 519-829-8758 on the day of your arrival with your name, suite name and reservation number for your room's access code.
Check-out: is 11:00am. Please leave the key on the counter inside your suite.

Deposit: Credit cards will be charged the full amount of stay plus tax on the morning of your arrival. Payment can be made with Visa or MasterCard.

Noise: We ask our guests to be considerate of each other with noise. No outdoor loud speakers, microphones may be used without written consent from the owners. Wellington county noise by-laws are that outdoor noise needs to be quieted by 11:00pm. We want to provide the best stay for all our guests. To ensure the relaxing getaway for all. Failure to respect this policy will result in a forfeit of your stay.

Walking around the property: While walking around the suites please walk on the gravel pathway not in front of other suites. These patios are for the private enjoyment of each suite guests.

Children: Inner Joy Getaways caters primarily to couples, we are an adult only getaway, no children please.

Pets: Inner Joy Getaways strives to keep our suites hypoallergenic. Therefore out of respect for all guests we do not allow pets.

Smoke/Vape/Cannabis - Free Facility: The Inner Joy Getaways property is proud to offer a smoke/vape/cannabis-free environment. Smoking/vaping/cannabis is not permitted in guest rooms, indoor or outdoor public areas, nor anywhere on our grounds where it may impact other guests or pose a fire hazard. There is a designated smoking deck available. There will be a charge of $550 fee charged to your credit card for any violations of our no smoking/vaping/cannabis policy . If the room is damaged or requires an excessive amount of cleaning; an additional cleaning fee will be assessed to your credit card at a minimum hourly rate of $95/hour and any damages will be assessed the value of repair or replacement. Our non-smoking policy includes all types of tobacco, as well as e-cigarettes, etc. There will be designated areas with proper disposal containers for your use please assist us in protecting the wildlife environment.

River: Use extreme caution near the river banks as some seasons there may be high water levels and strong currents. You are welcome to fish, as we are located on one of the best fly fishing spots in the area, provided you have a valid fishing license and bring your own equipment. Enter the river at your own risk.

Hot Tub and Outdoor Patio: It is our hope that you will take advantage of our beautiful outdoor spaces. For your safety, please refrain from using glasses or glass bottles outside of the suites, especially while in the hot tub. Fun, plastic beverage containers are available in your kitchenettes. Towels have been provided in your suites.
Please use the hot tub with caution. Enter and exit the hot tub carefully, with no jumping or diving. Please refrain from using soaps or oils in the hot tub. Elderly persons and pregnant women should consult their doctor before use. Anyone with heart disease, diabetes, high or low blood pressure or any serious illness should consult with a doctor before using any hot tub. Please replace the hot tub cover after each use.

We have provided two Smart TV's in each suite with Netflix and YouTube available for your viewing pleasure. There is no TV cable access in the suites.

Outdoor Spaces: Our property has many seating areas for our guests to relax and enjoy the grounds, we ask that you respect the personal patios of other guests. Hiking trails nearby are the Cotton Tail Trail or Wilson Flats both trails are about 3min drive to their access points. Please be aware of any "Private" signs located for the privacy of the owners and neighbours.

Outdoor Games: We offer various lawn games for our guests enjoyment with limited equipment. Please return all equipment to the equipment shed when finished with the activity. Use of games is at your own risk.

Payment Policy

Payments are to be paid in full the morning of arrival.

Cancellation Policy

In our aim to be as flexible as possible for our guests during this time of uncertainty. We do not charge your credit card until the morning of your arrival at which time your reservation is non refundable. We respectfully request that you give us as much notice as possible as we are turned away other guests to hold your date. Working together is a way we can all get through this time.
