Terms & Conditions

We are a small boutique hotel that offers a unique experience in Panama. We are only able to offer a few rooms and have high demand. In our attempt to serve our clients, please read our reservation and cancellation policy.
Check-in time is at 3:00pm and check out is at 12:00pm. Depending on other reservations, we will of course try to accommodate your specific schedule at not extra charge when possible.
We reserve the right to refuse entry.

Payment Policy

Every booking made through any channel other than the website will be completely charged to the client upon reservation or upon arrival. If booked through website or through phone, a deposit of 25% will be charged at the moment of the reservation. The remainder of the charge will be made 30 or 15 days prior to arrival depending on the cancellation policies or fare that you have selected. Only Mastercard and Visa are currently accepted. All payments are not refundable.

All reservations are subject to a 10% Panamanian hospitality tax (ITBMS). If the reservation is made by agencies, special cancellation and payment policies apply. Please check terms and conditions with your agency.

Prices are subject to change unless reservation has been confirmed by booking payment or deposit.

No refunds issued after check-in.

You will need a valid ID and valid credit card to do your check-in as per Panamenian Law. A security deposit of $500.00 for incidentals will be retained on your credit card upon your arrival per each unit you rent with us. It will be cancelled 48 hours after your check-out. In the case of reservations for 3 suites or more, 2 credit cards will be requested for a double incidentals deposit. No charges will be made to your credit card without your information.

Cancellation Policy

If booked through website or through phone, a non refundable deposit of 25% is due upon booking.
During the regular season: More than 15 days, charge of 25%. Less than 15 days, or on the day of reservation, full charge.
During the holiday season (Dec 19- Jan 7 & Jan 22 to Jan 27 & March 10-April 10): More than 30 days, 25%. Less than 30 days, or on the day of reservation, full charge. All payments are not refundable.

If your reservation was done through a travel agency, the cancellation policy for travel agencies will be applied, and the above policies will not be part of your reservation. Please contact your Travel agent for more information. All payments are not refundable.

In the case of Non refundable rates or early bird rates, the fee has no cancellation applicable and the whole charge will be done at the moment of reservation. There will be no refunds.

House Rules indicate respect for other guests and premises. No strong noise or loud conversation after 11.00pm in the common areas.
La Isabela subscribes to the UN Palermo Protocols especially Protocol to Prevent, Suppress and Punish Trafficking in Persons, especially Women and Children. Under the principles of these Protocols applicable in Panama, any behavior which indicates abuse of trafficked human beings, especially in the case of children, will be reported to the authorities. In case of non-respect of these house rules, this establishment reserves the right to cancel the stay and invite guests to leave the premises, without refund.
