Terms & Conditions

Please read carefully our 'RESERVATION & CANCELLATION POLICY' during the online reservation process.

Securing your reservation with payment means you accept the Terms and Conditions of our Reservation & Cancellation Policy

Food, alcohol or non-alcohol drinks that aren´t supply by hotel are not permitted to be consumed or stored in the cabanas. Uncork services will apply .

Children +12 years old due to our quiet & intimate atmosphere. Check with us for season suitable for lower ages.

Pets Not allowed, following Sian Kaan Biosphere Reserve policy.

Check In
At 15:00 hrs. On early arrival: We´ll be glad to keep your luggage safe while enjoying our beach club & facilities. When arriving after 1800hrs, is important you bring your reservation (digital is fine) and cash for the Entrance at Sian Kaan Reserve.

Check Out
Our check-out time is 12pm (noon). In case of later departure we will gladly keep your personal effects in storage while you enjoy the facilities of our property. Subject to availability and previous request, we will allow you to stay in your room no later than 16:00 hrs with an additional fee of 50 USD + taxes

Cancellation Policy
For Free Cancellation, guest must cancel 31 days prior to check in time.
To receive a 50% refund of total amount of reservation, guest must cancel within 21 days prior to check in.
Changes on dates for reservations are allow upon new availability, and if done 21 days prior to check in. This New Reservation is Non-Refundable and will be valid within the following 3 months according to current season rates.
If guest cancels less than 20 full days prior to check in schedule, no-show, or wishes to reduce the stay length, nights not enjoyable are non-refundable.
In case of early departure, the total amount of stay will not be refunded or given as credit.

If you book at a certain rate and during the time span between your reservation date and your arrival date the price changes, both parties will respect the rate of the original reservation.
If you booked at a promotional or non-refundable rate, your reservation is non-refundable.

We are not responsible or liable for changes or cancellations made that relate to or arise as a result of fire, epidemics or health risks, technical problems with transport as well as flight delays due to weather or for mechanical reasons, closed or congested airports or ports or any unforeseeable or unavoidable events beyond Libelula Tulum control.
Hotel shall not be responsible for inclement weather or eventual sargasso arrival.

Please be mindful about the noise when staying with us specially after 22:00 hrs.
We are in love of our surrounding so we kindly request only eco-friendly products such as sunscreen, sunblock, mosquito repellent, shampoo, body gel, and body lotion are permitted.
Aiming to respect the environment, A/C will be on only from 9pm to 9am, please shut them off on your way out.
Electricity Restrictions: hair dryers or any kind of ironing or shaving machines

Right to refuse accommodation
Hotel reserves the right to refuse accommodation to you or any person(s) without any notice and terminate any booking without being liable for any refund or compensation for the following reasons:
a. The booking has been paid through fraudulent means
b. The booking has been altered by anyone other than hotel authorised agent or has been tampered with or the booking confirmation has been defaced (in which case Hotel reserves the right to retain such booking documentation)
c. The person checking in is not or cannot prove that he/she is the person named in the booking confirmation

Damage
You are liable for any damage howsoever caused to the allocated room(s) or to the hotel premises or property caused by you or any person in your party (whether or not staying at the hotel) during your stay.
Hotel reserves the right to retain your credit card and/or debit card details and charge or debit such amounts as it shall in its sole discretion deem fit on the said card(s) to compensate or make good the loss, damage, costs or expenses incurred or suffered by hotel as a result of the aforesaid.
Regardless, hotel further reserves the right to commence legal proceedings against you without notice.

Changes to these terms & conditions
Hotel reserves the right to cancel, amend or vary the arrangements and content featured on the hotel website and/or change, amend, vary or add to these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. You will be notified of any changes to these terms and conditions as made available on the hotel website. The terms and conditions hereby outlined may be subject to change.

Conflict between English text and other language text
If there is any conflict or discrepancy between the English text of these terms and conditions and any translation thereof into any other language, the English text shall prevail.

Governing laws
Your contract with hotel is governed by the laws of the country where the hotel you booked your stay with is located and any disputes shall be settled in the courts of that country.
All other matters concerning or relating to the hotel website shall be governed by the laws of Mexico and the Mexican courts shall have jurisdiction therein.

Payment Policy

Any booking that is paid at the Hotel Front Desk, activities and services off the Hotel that are prepaid with non-refundable policy are no-refundable.

100% payment including taxes is required to secure your reservation.
Credit card accepted. (VISA, MASTER CARD, CARNET, DISCOVER, DINERS CLUB and AMEX) with accordingly % fee.

Rates are in US dollars and do not include taxes (16% VAT & 5% ISH Lodging tax).

Cancellation Policy

Please let us know as soon as possible if you wish to cancel your reservation. Penalty charge will applied based on your prior notice. Additionally an 4% will be retained in all refunds as an administration fee.

Refund does not apply for bookings and prepaid packages that are non-refundable and for which full amount is billed at time of booking.

All cancellations must be done via email to reservation@libelulatulum.com. We do not accept cancellation request by phone.

Reservations for Peak Season and Festivity dates are non-refundable:
Christmas & NYE

For Free Cancellation, guest must cancel 31 days prior to check in time.

To receive a 50% refund of total amount of reservation, guest must cancel within 30 days prior to check in.

To re-schedule reservation, guest must request within 28 days prior to check in. This new reservation is non-refundable and will be valid within the following 2 months only adjusting if higher price applies, according to current season rates and availability.

If guest cancels less than 15 full days prior to check in schedule, no-show, or wishes to reduce the stay length, nights not enjoyable are non-refundable.
