Lion's Rest is an A Grade Sri Lankan Tourist Board Approved property and was awarded TripAdvisors Travellers choice award for 2020
Since opening our doors to our 1st guests in early 2014 we have become home from home with many returning again and again.
We are an eight room boutique hotel situated right on the beach in an idyllic Sri Lankan fishing village and is a great base to be on on the southern tip of this beautiful country.
We offer a place of peace and retreat, looking out over the vast azure Indian Ocean.
We have fiber optic Internet broadband for those who require a constant fast connection. All our rooms have A/C as standard.
Our Lion's Restaurant serves a delicious selection of Sri Lankan and Western cuisine where all your dietary needs can be met.
Surf and Yoga are offered, our surf coach called Lucky is ISA ( International Surfing Association ) certified and gives daily group or 1 on 1 lessons.

Terms & Conditions
Cancellation Policy.
30 days or more prior to check in the deposit paid or payable at time of booking is charged.
29 days or less prior to check in 100% of the room booking is charged and cancellation of nights after arrival full payment is required.
Payment Policy
A 20% deposit is taken at the time of booking to secure the reservation, with the outstanding balance payment required 30 days prior to arrival.
For the nights of 24th December and 31st December we have our Christmas and New Years Banquets and there is a compulsory supplement charged of $35 USD* per person for each of the nights. *Children under 5 years old are half price.
Child Policy
Children under 5 years old are free of charge when using the existing beds at the charged room rate. A baby cot can be supplied in most rooms at a supplement of $10 USD per night

A 20% deposit is taken at the time of booking to secure the reservation, with the outstanding balance payment required 30 days prior to arrival.
