Despite its close proximity to London’s West End and the City – you can be in Central London within 15 minutes, West Hampstead really is a peaceful retreat from the more demanding city.
Popular with a wide range of families and professionals, there are a number of patisseries, cafes and restaurants in the area, along with a fine selection of bars and gastropubs offering a lively nightlife. The shops, eateries and bars are primarily located on West End Lane, and to a lesser extent on Mill Lane and Broadhurst Gardens. The Wet Fish Café, Lena's Café and Ladudu are among the most popular independent places to dine on West End Lane, while branded establishments include Nando’s, Banana Tree, Pizza Express and Gourmet Burger.
Everyday necessities can be found in Kilburn and Finchley Road, which are just short walk away; and you will find more bespoke boutiques on Hampstead High Street. The O2 Centre on Finchley Road has a number of eating and shopping options, as well as a cinema and a Virgin Active gym with swimming pool.
Popular bars and pubs include The Alice House, The Gallery, The Black Lion, while Lately Night Club and Lower Ground Bar are open until the early hours of the morning.
A fairly recent addition to West End Lane, Mexican ‘Street Food’ restaurant, Mama Cita’s has a Bodega Bar downstairs which is open from 6pm until late Tuesday to Saturday – with a midnight licence on weekends.

There’s certainly plenty of green spaces in the area: Kilburn Grange Park boasts a children’s playground, three tennis courts and a floodlit games area with changing rooms. Queen’s Park is a well loved green space with six tennis courts, a 9 hole pitch and putt course, a cafe and even a small zoo. The vast expanse of Hampstead Heath is an ideal location for long walks, and the three natural swimming ponds are popular with locals. Fortune Green is a nearby park that annually appoints an artist in residence to depict the wildlife on the green. Gladstone Park’s 97 acres is home to an art gallery, cafe and sports facilities.

Tube: West Hampstead Tube station in Zone 2 is on the Jubilee Line, and a journey to Bond Street takes just nine minutes. Overground trains regularly depart for Richmond, Stratford and Clapham Junction.
Rail: Trains run from West Hampstead Thameslink station to St Pancras, South London and Brighton.
Buses: There are buses that travel south into the city, including the 139 (to Waterloo) and the 189 (to Oxford Circus), both of which are 24 hour services. The 328 (to Chelsea) and the C11 (to Archway) pass through West Hampstead.
Cycle: It’s an easy 30 minute pedal to Oxford Street, but uphill on the way back.

Payment Policy

Full payment is required 7 days prior to arrival; payment can be made by credit or debit card, or BACS transfer. Cheques can be accepted 21 days prior to arrival

Cancellation Policy

7 days' notice of cancellation is required prior to check-in for all lengths of stay in order to avoid charges.
Notice given within 7 days will result in a charge equal to 7 nights minus the number of days' notice given. For example, if check-in is on 8th August 2015 and notice to cancel is given on 3rd August 2015, then 5 days' notice has been given and a charge of 2 nights will therefore apply (7 days - 5 days' notice given = 2 night charge).
This policy also applies to in-house guests should a stay need to be shortened.
