Note that these terms and policies are subject to change.
The maximum number of guests is limited to 2 persons, and the room rate is based on double occupancy. The rate remains the same regardless of if there is one guest or two.
We encourage all guests to purchase traveller and health insurance. Lisa and Russ Gedak (the homeowners) are not responsible for any accident or injury that any guests incur during your stay at our house. Please be aware that the Tree House located in the backyard is decorative and not to be climbed on - any injury incurred while on this restricted, decorative tree house is solely the guest's liability.
Rental rules
1. Smoking is allowed outside only; please use the ashtray provided (420-friendly property)
2. People other than the Guest party may not stay overnight on the property. Any other person on the property is the sole responsibility of the Guest.
3. The owners are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occur while on the premises. The Homeowners are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premise.
4. Keep the property and all furnishings in good order
5. Only use appliances for their intended uses
6. PETS are permitted only with prior approval
7. Parking is ample in front and beside the house for up to 2 cars
8. There are NO FIRES ALLOWED
(Residents must obtain permits between Oct and May)
9. Noise Pollution - The island is peaceful and quiet. Please keep loud noise to a minimum. Be extra mindful between 11 pm and 7 am every day.

Payment Policy
All rates for New Moon Lodge are listed per night for the King suite. Continental breakfast provisions are included in the rate, including tea, coffee, cream, sugar, bread, jam, and cookies. Rates quoted are correct only for up to two guests for the specific nights and the dates that are shown. If you change the number of guests, dates or nights, then the rates may change.
The first night’s payment is due upon booking, with the remaining amount due upon arrival.
We accept payment by credit card(VISA, MasterCard). Contact Lisa at New Moon Lodge if wanting to pay by eTransfer or cheque. Please note that cheques must be received at least a month prior to the booking in order to have time to clear before arrival.

Cancellation Policy
A reservation may be cancelled free of charge until 48 hours prior to the day of arrival. To cancel a booking, you must expressly inform the hosts of your intention to cancel by contacting them directly by telephone and/or e-mail: 250-222-7379 or lisa.gedak@outlook.com. You will receive confirmation of the cancellation within 24hours. In the event of late cancellation (less then 48 hours before check in) the full amount will be charged and no refund will be given.
