The Oban Hotel is a traditional thirty-bedroom Victorian establishment, privately run with a wonderful relaxed family atmosphere. All floors are serviced by a lift for your convenience.
We have a large but cosy lounge with a fully licensed bar and offer a variety of entertainment most weekday evenings subject to demand, (please enquire at time of reservation to avoid disappointment). The Grand Piano being a firm favourite for our private guests.
Our Restaurant can accommodate up to fifty-five diners. Here you can indulge in a variety of delicious traditional dishes for breakfast and evening meals. *Please see our restaurant page for more information.
The idyllic sun terrace and balcony is fantastic for soaking up the sunshine, enjoying the sea view and watching the world go by.
We have 30 comfortable ensuite rooms to offer, arranged over five floors. All rooms are equipped with duvets, tea and coffee making facilities and televisions. Hairdryers, ironing equipment and alarm clocks are available at reception. We can also provide an additional bed in suitable rooms when requested.

Payment of rooms is required upon Arrival - CHECK IN TIME - 14:30 Until 21:00 CHECK OUT TIME - 10:00. Late CHECK OUT fee of £10.00 per hour is applicable. Regretfully we do not accept pets. Children welcome from the age of 12. We do not accept single sex groups or groups that we feel will infringe on other guests enjoyment of the facilities. Once you have booked your stay, our agreement is a legal contract and any deposit you may have paid is non-refundable. If you need to cancel please contact us immediately. For cancellations made up to 10 days before your booking you will not be liable for the total balance. For cancellations made after this time or by failing to take up the booking without cancelling you will be liable for the total amount. For this reason you may wish to take out cancellation insurance, which is inexpensive and can be obtained from any most insurance companies or brokers. We would only cancel your booking if your accommodation was unavailable for reasons beyond our control. We would attempt to offer you alternative accommodation, however if this was not possible, or unacceptable to you, then we would refund all monies paid by you. Our liability would not extend beyond this refund.We are unable to complete our checking-in procedure without a valid card. A valid credit/debit card is requested from ALL customers as part of our checking - in procedure, even if this is not the method that will be used for final payment (i.e cash). it is standard practice for hotels worldwide to take credit/debit card details as a precaution to guarantee payment for any incidental charges (i.e food, drink, damages). Unless specified at the time of booking, deposit payments are regarded to be 50% of the total charge of the reservation. Cancellation of a reservation must be received 10 days prior to arrival date. Regretfully If cancellation is made within 10 days of the arrival date, full charges will be applied. Please also note details of a valid credit / debit card will be required at the time of check-in.
