Our Ethos: This is an Ohana Inn. Ohana means family in Hawaiian. At an Ohana Inn the family works to make sure that everyone has a great experience. We rarely sit still. You are welcome to get what you need when you need it and come and go as you please. This is your property just as much as it’s ours while you are here.
This active mindset doesn’t give us much time to sit behind a desk playing solitaire. Instead you may find your “innkeeper” out in the garden, baking muffins or folding laundry. The second you walk on the property you are family. We invite you to take off your shoes, plop down and relax, strum the guitar in the living room or even chat with us in the garden while we plant some veggies ;).
Checking in and out: This is mostly a self serve property. You will be given access to your key via the table in the lobby or a code to enter via smart lock so you can check in without contact. You can leave your key on the lobby counter or in the room when you check out. We live here and work here to make the property the best it can be so you have a wonderful stay. That requires a ton of running around to keep things stocked, lawn care, cleaning and maintenance. You know how it goes with family… They are always there if you need them!
We expect you to have the time of your life, treat the property as if it were your very own and ENJOY! Please tread lightly on the property and respect our other guests. Oh and since we are from Hawaii we ask that shoes aren’t worn in the buildings (Hawaiian cultural thing).

Payment Policy

This property is privately owned and management reserves the right to refuse service to anyone, and will not be responsible for accidents or injury to guests or for loss of money, jewelry, or valuables of any kind. (sorry about that, the insurance guy demanded we add that).
Please refer to our full list of Policies and Rates on our website prior to booking. Once a reservation is booked, you are agreeing to abide by all policies and conditions of this property.
When making reservations children 11 years old and younger are free. Children 12 years and older are charged an additional $20.00 per person for rooms that can accommodate them, please input them as adults when making reservations. Please declare all people you are making a reservation for (and yes children whether we charge for them or not, are people too).
Pet Policy
Pets are welcomed here! Feel free to bring your furry friend. Keep in mind that, there will be an additional $20.00/night per pet fee.
Cooking
Cottage 7, Apartment A, and Apartment B are the only units you can cook in. We have a grill on the deck that you can use for cooking if you so desire at your own risk. This is for your safety, the safety of our other guests, the protection of our property and business. If we become aware that you have cooked in the room (not designed for cooking), we may assess a $150 cleaning fee to sanitize and clean the entire space. Spaces with food need to be sanitized from top to bottom per health regulations and we want to follow those rules.
Non-Smoking Policy
1. Sorry, we do not have any smoking rooms and we would appreciate guests smoking off the property. Go for a walk and kindly keep the smell as far away as you can.
2. These rooms are for the enjoyment of everyone. If we detect smoking in the rooms, we will charge a $500.00 fumigation/cleaning fee.
Check-in/Check-out
1. Check-in time is after 3 PM; please no late check-ins after 9 PM unless special arrangements have been made (please phone ahead). Sorry, no late check in for B&B suites.
2. Check-out time is 10 AM. Unfortunately we cannot accommodate late check-outs. We regularly have 10 or more rooms to clean per day and it’s tough to do that with the 5 hour change time so we really do appreciate you checking out on time.
Property Damage
1. Damage beyond normal wear and tear will be assessed and charged to the credit card on file on an as needed basis. This is a small family owned business, we can not absorb the costs of willful destruction of property and expect to stay in business. Invoices and pictures can be provided upon request.

Cancellation Policy

1. You must cancel by 6 PM seven days prior to your arrival to avoid a one-night cancellation fee. If we can re-book your room,there will be no charge to your card.
2. We charge your credit card for the full stay 30 DAYS from your stay. If you shorten your stay, we will try to rebook your room and if possible refund the balance of your reservation.
3. If, for any reason, we have to refund money to your credit card, there will be a $25 service charge.
Excessive Cleaning Charge
1. If rooms are left in excessive disarray and require more than normal housekeeping an additional $25.00 charge will be imposed.
This includes any condition where either more housekeepers are required, with a greater amount of time than normal.
