Parrot Nest

The Parrot Nest is one of the Old-Sanibel inns located on the quiet East End of the island. Since 1955, our charming inn has been welcoming visitors and until the early 1960's they were brought to our shores from the mainland by ferryboat.

In homage to the property's heritage, our six rooms are tastefully decorated in the 1950's revival style.We are within walking distance to the historic Sanibel Lighthouse and fishing pier, beautiful shelling beaches, shopping and restaurants.

If you like, rent a bike and explore miles of paths covering the island and leading to wildlife refuges, kayaking spots, secluded beaches, and meandering past more eateries, shops, and galleries.

Terms & Conditions

The office is staffed from 10:00-3:00. We do not have a 24 hour front desk. If you have an emergency while you are at our property please call the number that is provided in the office area.

At the time of check in, go to the office. There will be a welcome letter and registration form on the office curtain with your name and room number on it. Please sign the registration form and leave in the basket. Your room will be unlocked and the key will be inside.

Check in begins at 3 P.M. and Check out is no later than 10 A.M. We ask that you honor these times, so we have the time necessary to clean the accommodations for the next guests. We thank you in advance for your cooperation in adhering to these times.

Check-ins after 5: There will be a welcome letter and registration form on the office curtain with your name and room number on it. Please sign the registration form and leave in the basket. Your room will be unlocked and the key will be inside.

We do not have daily housekeeping, however guests may be financially responsible for excessive garbage/rubbish left as a result of the guests own negligence.

Please no smoking in the accommodations. Please do so on your porch or the common areas throughout the property.

We do not offer daily maid service, however fresh towels are in the laundry room and linens are available upon request.

Please, no pets.

Parking is provided for one car for each room- limited parking does not allow space for trailers or RVs

We reserve the right to change accommodations or refuse service for any unregistered guests.

No refunds for early check outs.

Minimum age requirement is 25.

NOTICE TO GUESTS:
• This property is privately owned.
• The management reserves the right to refuse service to anyone.
• The management will not be responsible for accidents or injuries to guests.
• The management cannot be responsible for loss of money, jewelry or valuables of any kind.
• Guest agrees to terms in confirmation letter.
• We reserve the right to change accommodations or refuse service for any unregistered guests.
• **NO REFUNDS FOR EARLY CHECKOUTS**
FURNISHINGS:
• Guests shall indemnify for any damage to the units, grounds, furnishings, equipment and household items therein, which occurs during the guest’s period of occupancy, excluding normal wear and tear.
• We do not have daily housekeeping; however, guests may be financially responsible for excessive garbage/rubbish left as a result of the guests own negligence.
• Guests understand that any damage which is discovered to exist, or which occurs during guest’s occupancy, should be reported at the earliest possible time to the rental office.

Payment Policy

Your credit card will be charged a one day deposit within 24 hours of making a reservation.

Balance due on arrival.

All reservations are subject to 13.9% state, local tax and resort fees.

There are no refunds for late arrivals or early departures.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation notice is required 30 days prior to check in. A cancellation within 30 days of check in will result in forfeiture of the deposit.

In the event of inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances, we suggest purchasing traveler’s insurance for your protection. This can be done online atwww.insuremytrip.com or any other travel site you wish.
