Property Information
Puerta Azul is a unique, upscale Bed & Breakfast centrally located in Sandy Bay, Roatán. An ocean front setting combined with lush tropical floral and fauna makes for a perfect relaxing vacation.
Guests can choose to stay in one of the five self standing bungalows that face the crystal blue waters of the Caribbean Sea or from our two private garden casitas that come equipped with kitchenettes.
The nightly rate includes breakfast, daily cleaning services, air conditioning, wifi and use of our stand up paddleboards and kayaks. Snorkeling equipment is available for rent.

The Garden Studio Casita is the newest addition to the property. This large studio casita has a king size bed, single bed, kitchenette and private bathroom. The oversized porch is equipped with a hammock, table and chairs.
Like the rest of our accommodations on the property, guests can enjoy our daily breakfast, daily cleaning service, wifi, and air conditioning. Our front desk is staffed 24 hours per day to make sure that you are accommodated throughout your stay. And with just a short two-minute walk to the beach and private dock, guests can enjoy all the amenities that Puerta Azul has to offer including use of our kayaks and stand up paddleboards.

Two Bedroom Garden Casita
Two Bedroom Garden Casita Book
What was once a caretaker’s cottage has been transformed into a funky, two bedroom casita (meaning little house). Located in front of the residence, the casita allows ample space & privacy for our guests. Equipped with a kitchenette, two porches, a living room, two bedrooms and two bathrooms, the casita can truly be your home away from home.
The Master Bedroom has a queen size bed, closet, ceiling fan, AC, and private bathroom. The private bedroom has its own entrance and has a twin size bed in addition to a queen size bed which makes it suitable for up to three guests.
Like the rest of our accommodations on the property, guests can enjoy our daily breakfast, daily cleaning service, wifi, and air conditioning. Our front desk is staffed 24 hours per day to make sure that you are accommodated throughout your stay. And with just a short two-minute walk to the beach and private dock, guests can enjoy all the amenities that Puerta Azul has to offer including use of our kayaks and stand up paddleboards.

Terms & Conditions
Room Rates are quoted in US dollars.
There are no refunds for late arrivals or early departures unless prior arrangement has been made. This includes delayed flights.
All Guests must agree to the following cancellation policy.
Puerta Azul 2023 Cancellation Policy:
In the case you need to cancel your reservation, the credit from your deposit can be used towards a new reservation valid 6 months from the original check in date. This cancellation policy is only valid for direct bookings. When booking through a third party the cancellation policy of that third party applies to your booking.
It is recommended you buy travel insurance in the case you have to cancel due to COVID infection, travel restrictions or airline interruption to Roatan.
Puerta Azul is not responsible for any unforeseen event that may cause you to cancel your booking. This includes viruses, disease, sickness, pregnancy, weather, act of nature, or any other event non-related to Puerta Azul. In order to cover refunds for these cases we recommend that you purchase a third party travel insurance in advance of your travel.
Puerta Azul is not responsible for any items lost or stolen on the property.
Payment Policy
A 50% deposit is due upon booking and the remaining balance is due upon check-in.
Deposits can be made via the following:

Remaining balance is due at check in with USD or Visa, American Express, Mastercard or USD.
