River Ridge Cottages is a rustic property nestled along the banks of the beautiful Big Thompson River, right outside the Beaver Meadows Entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park. It features free WiFi, close proximity to some of the best restaurants, hiking, fishing, and many classic Estes Park activities such as mini golf, the mountain tram, trout fishing, Trail Ridge Road, Bear Lake trailhead, the outdoor adventure park, the big slide, and bumper boats. River Ridge Cottages is a waterfront property and has beautiful views of the Continental Divide mountains.

All units feature a sitting area, High Def TV, a kitchenette, private bathroom, and a coffee maker, microwave, and toiletries. River Ridge Cottages offers some units with direct river views.

Rocky Mountain National Park's main entrance is 1.5 miles from the property.

River Ridge Cottages is a “Let-Yourself-Inn” lodging property, without a formal lobby area. On the day of check in, you will receive instructions and a door code as soon as your unit is ready. Staff members are located just moments away, and they provide onsite security. They are available (via a phone call or text to 970.702.4163) between 8:30-5:30 daily to restock amenities, bring fresh towels, or answer questions about the local area! We hope that our unique model makes you feel welcome and right at home!

Pets not allowed. All non-smoking units. Children of any age are welcome, but count toward occupancy.

Minimum age for check in is 21 years of age.

Fees of $25 per additional guest/night (above base occupancy).

Payment Policy

River Ridge Cottages collects a 50% deposit at time of booking.

Upon arrival, the remaining balance is charged to the credit card on file.

Cancellation Policy

A 50% deposit is processed at the time of booking and is used to guarantee your reservation. Cutoff is 14 days before arrival in order to receive refund of deposit, less a $25 cancellation fee. At 14 or fewer days from arrival date, the reservation is locked in. Reservations cancelled within this window require forfeiture of the 50% deposit.

The remaining balance is due day of check in. Reservations are considered final on day of check in and will be charged entire balance, to include no-show or cancellation. There is no refund for unused accommodations. No refunds or rescheduling of stay are allowed after check-in, to include reasons of bad weather, illness, or plan changes. Since our reservation and cancellation policies must be more restrictive than a large hotel, we recommend the purchase traveler’s insurance to protect your vacation. Flight delays, illness, positive test results, and emergencies should be considered possibilities, and unfortunately, River Ridge Cottages cannot be held financially responsible.
