Terms & Conditions

Terms and Conditions of Guest Stay
The laws of England and Wales will apply to the contract.
1. Identities
The Guest is any person or company contracting for use of the company's services. The Company is Swansea Marina Apartments.
2. The Contract
The Terms and Conditions of Guest Stay will apply to all transactions. Any variations must be agreed in writing by both parties. Contracts become valid only when The Company has sent confirmation by email to address given at time of booking. Booking quotations are valid for 24 hours only, and are subject to availability.
4. Occupancy
Apartments sleep a maximum of one person per single bed, and two people per double bed. Only beds supplied by the company are to be used for sleeping, except for guests own cots for infants under the age of three years. The company may relocate guests to accommodation of a similar type to that originally intended or contracted for.
5. Checking In and Out
Standard, accompanied, check-in hours are between 3pm and 8pm, Monday to Friday and 3pm to 6pm Saturday and Sunday. Full details on how to access the apartment will be sent following a booking being made. Check-out is to be made by 11am, failure to return the keys to the designated place by 11am will result in a £20.00 charge.
A valid photographic ID in the lead name on the booking must be provided at the time of check in.
The card used to make payment for the booking must be provided at the time of check in. The card details will be kept securely on file until check out.
9. Payment & Cancellation
For non-refundable bookings full payment will be taken at the time of booking. There is a 100% cancellation charge once the booking has been made.
For all other bookings payment will be taken 7 days prior to check in. Once payment is made the booking is non refundable.
Dates may be changed subject to availability and will incur an admin fee of £45 plus any differential in the cost of the accommodation.
At the discretion of the company, a bond or deposit may be required before the date of arrival or upon arrival.
13. Insurance
Clients are encouraged to take out travel insurance. All damages, losses, and shortages are chargeable to the card provided at the time of booking. Guests should report any damages already evident in the apartment, within two hours.
14. Alterations
Bookings made through agent sites e.g Laterooms, Booking.com, Airbnb etc. are Pre-Purchase, there is no refund. The dates can be changed subject to availability, and will incur an admin fee of £45
All bookings made directly with Swansea Marina Apartments can be amended and will incur a £45 admin charge.
15. Assignment
Occupation and use of the property is limited to those named at time of booking.
16. Force Majeure
The Company is not liable for any losses or inconveniences suffered by guests, where it is prevented from carrying out its services due to circumstances beyond its control.
17. General
The Terms and Conditions of the company are enforceable unless found to be illegal, but do not limit any legal rights. Delay by the company in enforcing a right does not invalidate the right. The company may surrender one or more rights, without affecting other rights in the contract.
We do not accept same sex groups, stag or hen parties or bookings or anyone intending to use the apartment as a meeting or party venue.
We do not accept unaccompanied guests under the age of 25.
No smoking or pets of any kind are allowed in any apartment. Smoking is permitted on balconies or patios only.
Antisocial or noisy behaviour by guests is unacceptable and may result in guests being asked to leave the property. In certain circumstances, the Company reserves the right to apply a monetary penalty of £150 to compensate those affected by this disturbance. No noise may be made that is audible to other residents in any development between the hours of 11pm and 10 am.
Any loss or damage caused to fixtures, fittings and inventory supplied in the apartment will be charged for. If an apartment is found to be in an excessively dirty or abused state we reserve the right to charge a deep cleaning fee of up to £150.
The Company will not be responsible for the failure of or repair to, services of supply to any property. The Company will provide a general clean of the property on a weekly basis. If a guest refuses cleaning on the scheduled day, cleaning will not be scheduled until the following week. Guests failing to return keys and fobs to the correct location and at the correct time, may be charged for such keys, fobs, and the changing of apartment door locks. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions affects your statutory rights.
18. Communications
No communication otherwise agreed is binding on the Company unless this is received in writing to our registered office or by email to owen3.investments@gmail.com in sufficient time for the required action to be taken.
19. Utility bills
All utility bills are included in the nightly rate of stay which covers, gas, electric, water and council tax.
Swansea Marina Apartments reserve the right to charge customers using excessive levels of electricity, gas or water.
20. Broadband
Swansea Marina Apartments provide unlimited usage of broadband inclusive of the nightly rate.
Provision of broadband internet is restricted and controlled by the Internet Service Provider.

Payment Policy

Additional fees
Service charge of 20£/stay - not included in price.

Internet
WiFi is available in the hotel rooms and is free of charge.
Parking
Private parking is possible on site (reservation is needed) and costs GBP 5 per day.
Pets
Pets are not allowed.

Cancellation Policy

The guest can cancel free of charge until 14 days before arrival. The guest will be charged the total price if they cancel in the 14 days before arrival.
The guest will be charged a prepayment of the total price at any time.
