Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully.

By using this website and The Peat Inn online booking service you are agreeing to be bound by the Terms and Conditions detailed below which form the basis of your contract with The Peat Inn.

ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE
Our suites are available from 3pm on the day of arrival. Rooms must be vacated by 11.00am on the day of departure, unless otherwise sanctioned at the discretion of the hotel manager. If you plan to arrive after 7.00pm, please advise the hotel.

ACCOMMODATION
Guests with impaired mobility or other particular requirements should check with the hotel in advance that their requirements can be met. We offer eight beautifully appointed, individually designed suites. Seven of the rooms are set on two levels, while one room is arranged with all the facilities on one level. Please ask if you specifically require a bathroom with bath as well as shower.

DINNER
Dinner reservations cannot be guaranteed online. If the time you have requested online is unavailable we will allocate the closest available time to you, alternatively, please contact the hotel direct to book your slot prior to completion of your online booking.

MEAL ARRANGEMENTS
Please note that if you choose a menu other than that included in your package,it will be charged at the same rate as the package, or greater if applicable.

RATES
Prices for breaks include twin or double bedrooms (double room for single guests) with colour TV, direct dial telephone and private en-suite bathroom. Our bed and breakfast and dinner, bed and breakfast inclusive rates incorporate a saving on our standard hotel prices.

PAYMENTS
We accept the following methods of payment: credit cards: American Express, MasterCard, Visa; debit cards - Visa/Delta and Visa/Electron.

CHILDREN
Children under the age of five can stay and eat breakfast free , when sharing a room with two paying adults. Children from the ages of 5 to 12 years will be charged at £65.00 per child, per night where the adults are staying on Bed and Breakfast or Dinner Bed and Breakfast Rates (this covers the cost of bed & breakfast only and all other child meals will be charged for as taken), when sharing a room with two paying adults where a suitable room is available. Children staying in their own room will be charged 100% of the full adult rate paid by the accompanying adults. Children over 7 are welcome in the restaurant at dinner, if you are staying with children under this age then we recommend using Little Royals Child Care on 01586 553863.

SMOKING AND VAPING
Our properties are smoke free and a cleaning fee of £500.00 will be applied to your given card if you smoke or vape in the hotel or restaurant.

DOGS
We love them too! Unfortunately we do not allow them to stay or dine with us, excluding guide dogs.

GIFT VOUCHERS
Gift vouchers should be handed to the receptionist on arrival.

DAMAGE
We reserve the right and you hereby authorise us to charge your credit or debit card for any damage incurred to your room or the Hotel during your stay (including without limitation specialist cleaning) or for any items that are missing when you leave.

While all reasonable efforts have been taken to ensure the accuracy of information on the Websites, the Company does not accept responsibility for errors or omissions and reserve the right to amend, cancel or vary any of the arrangements featured on the Websites without notice.

Payment Policy

We request a £100.00 non refundable deposit per room to secure your reservation.

We accept the following methods of payment: credit cards: American Express, MasterCard, Visa; debit cards - Visa/Delta and Visa/Electron.

All outstanding charges must be paid for in full on check-out from the Hotel.

Cancellation Policy

A deposit of £100.00 per suite is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation. Deposits will only be refunded in the event of lockdown or travel restrictions being imposed. Any cancellations made out with seven days of the reservation date will result in the deposit being lost. Without exception. Cancellations made within seven days of the reservation will incur an additional charge of £100.00. Cancellations made within 72 hours of the reservation date will be subject to 100% of the reservation amount being charged. The monetary value of any gift voucher used to make a reservation will be redeemed towards the outstanding balance. Unfortunately, we are unable to make provisional bookings, or "hold" suites for any length of time.
