Overview
Hawaiian vibes fill THE BEACH Waikiki Boutique Hostel by IH, where you can rent bikes, surfboards and snorkeling equipment to make the most of this magical island. We also have a rooftop terrace for sunning yourself. You can join us for our famous shuttle trips or tours, including to the lush North Shore and other hidden gems around the island!

Location
We're in the middle of Waikīkī, a block and a half from Kūhiō Beach and walking distance from shops, parks and surf spots. We're also just a short drive from waterfalls and hiking trails. Airport drop-off and pick-up is available from $30 per person for a 20-minute journey, or you can ride the bus for about an hour. Take no. 19 or 20 from Daniel K Inouye International and get off in Waikīkī at the corner of Kūhiō and Paoakalani avenues. Turn towards the beach, walk two blocks to Cartwright Road and you'll see us.

Rooms and Dorms
We have air con throughout the place, including our private rooms. There are mixed and female-only dorms if you're on a budget – all with en-suites, so there's no wandering around looking for a hot shower. Linen's included and you'll get a locker for stashing your bags. We have studios with kitchenettes as well – ace if you're here for a while and looking to save cash.

Extras and activities
We'll let you borrow boogie boards, mats, floats and chairs for the beach at absolutely no charge, and there are towels for hire at our 24-hour reception desk. We also have a communal kitchen with microwaves and fridges if you fancy whipping up some traditional Hawaiian poke. There's free Wi-Fi at the hostel too, so you can easily connect with your new travel buddies on social media.

House Rules
All guests must be between 18-45 years old to stay in Dormitory Rooms. Guests older or younger can only stay in Semi Private and Private Rooms. Please note that we can not reserve or assign bunks to guests checking in, bunk beds come on a first come first serve basis.

Terms & Conditions

CHECK IN REQUIREMENT

• This is a drug free Hostel.
• Masks are required at all times, unless inside of your own room.
• Check-out time is 11:00AM and all personal possessions must be out from the room. Re-entry is NOT allowed after check out. Sheets must be returned from all dormitory rooms.
• No Smoking (including E-Cigarettes) is strictly prohibited anywhere at the hostel premises including the room balconies, a minimum cleaning charges of $250.00 will posted to the particular room/guest account for violation of this policy
• Quiet hours: 10PM - 7:00AM (Please whisper)
• No outside guest or visitor is allowed at the hostel.
• Guests are only allowed in their assigned room.
• No excessive amount of belongings allowed in rooms
• No pets without approval and additional deposit
• No illegal downloads on our Wi-Fi (Torrents, Games, Movies, etc.)
• Violation of any hostel policies can result in eviction without refund.

Rentals:

• Parking is $18.00/night (Car may get towed without parking permit)
• Towel/beach towel is $2.00 to rent

SUBSTITUTIONS & LIMITED LIABILITY:
After your check in, no cancellations or refunds are possible. This Hostel is privately owned & operated and we reserve the right to refuse to anyone for any reason. By signing this form, you are agreeing to authorize The Beach Waikiki Boutique Hostel to charge the credit card on file on your account for all charges incurred & for all any damages caused or missing items. Your signature below authorizes the Hostel to use your contact information to notify you of promotional items and other announcements.

Cancellation Policy

We only accept cancellations/changes via email. Please note that any cancellations/changes must be made at least 7 days prior to your scheduled arrival time, indicated upon booking. In case the arrival time was not indicated upon booking, any cancellations/changes must be made at least 7 days prior to your scheduled arrival date. We charge the total of the first night for all cancellations made less than 7 days from arrival. In case of a no show, we will charge in full for the first night and cancel the reservations for the second night and thereafter.

There is no refund after check in during Christmas, New year's etc. period. All cancellations must be made at least 14 days prior to your scheduled arrival time during this time period.

Please note that room type requests are not guaranteed and are subject to availability & operational needs.

NON-REFUNDABLE RATE CANCELLATIONS
Your booking is non-refundable. If you choose to cancel your booking, or in the case of a no-show, you will still be charged the full cost of your booking.
