Terms & Conditions

● Forest Lodge charges a 3% credit card fee to cover our processing charge.
● Refund policy: No cash or credit card refunds, ROOM CREDIT ONLY.
● Cabin pricing is based on four people per room.
● Campsite pricing is based on 4 people per site and maximum of 2 tents per site.
Additional tent fee is $10 per tent. Additional person fee is $5 per person including children over 12.
● Pets are permitted in certain rooms. Pet fee is $5 per pet per night (maximum number of pets per room is two) .
Pets are permitted in campsite. Pet fee is $5 per pet per campsite (maximum of pets in campsite is two).
Pets must be on a leash at all times when outside. Pet owners (or whomever reserved the accommodation if owner is not present)
are fully responsible for their pets and for the safety of others (and the pets of others) from their pets.
Pet owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets. A $35 fee will be charged to the room if we have to clean.
Any damages caused by pets will be charged to the room.
AT NO TIME can pets be left alone in rooms or at campsites.
● All rooms are subject to 6% sales tax and 5% hotel tax.
● All campsites are subject to 6% sales tax.
Maximum length of camper we can accommodate is 32 feet in most sites.
Larger lengths can be accommodated in specific sites (call or email to arrange).
Four wheel drive tow is recommended for the larger sized campers.
● Smoking is permitted outside only. There is a $100 fee for smoking in rooms.
● Limited handicapped accessibility.
● Lost room key fee is $20.
● We are suitable for children of all ages. Playground available to be used at your own risk.
● Forest Lodge and every other local establishment uses well water and a septic system. With a well as a water
source, there is always a possibility that black particles may appear in the water. These particles are often caused
by iron or manganese in the water system. They are harmless to digest, but they can give the water a less than
clear appearance. The specks may also look brownish. These are usually particles of sand or silt that make there
way to the faucet. Other causes might be rust from the water lines or other mineral deposits. The remedy, usually
running the tap water on a high volume for a minute will eliminate this problem. This is not a concern, but you should
be aware of it and know that it is not a valid reason for a cancellation. "You're in the woods, my friend.".
● Forest Lodge does not control the weather. Unfavorable weather or trail conditions are not valid reasons for a last
minute cancellation. If it is the busy season, just know that other people wanted that same room you booked.
● Forest Lodge does not control events that are going on in the area that you came here to see. Once again, if it is the
busy season, other people wanted that same room you booked
● At Forest Lodge, we provide Dish Network television programming. But, please keep in mind that it is a DISH
Network system and, because we are in the woods, it doesn't always work as great as we would like especially in storm
conditions. It's pretty good, but not as reliable as cable in the city.
● At Forest Lodge we provide wifi but it is only in a limited area. Most rooms, but not all, may get it.
And also, please be aware that the cell phone coverage in our immediate area is not good.
**IMPORTANT MESSAGE TO ATV, UTV, AND DIRT BIKE RIDERS**
● ATV’s are to be ridden on designated ATV trails ONLY. All atv's, utv's, dirt bikes, etc., shall NOT be allowed
to leave or enter the property between the hours of 10pm and 7am from the Duhring road access.
Although Duhring road is part of the ANF trail, it is also a residential area with a 15 mph speed limit
which must be adhered to. These rules will be STRICTLY ENFORCED. Anyone who does not abide by
these rules will be asked to leave the premises immediately and will forfeit all their reservation deposit
and will not be allowed at the Forest Lodge and Campground at any time in the future. Riders may be asked to sign a waiver.
● Office hours are subject to change at any time due to the time of year or the possibility of staff shortages.
● We will always take care of our guests to the best of our ability.

● Payment is expected at check in.
All major credit cards are accepted.
Cash is also accepted.

Cancellation Policy

● Cancellation Policy: No call, no show you will be charged 100% of the reservation costs. Less than 1 days notice you will be charged 50% of the reservation costs. 1 to 3 days notice you will be charged 25% of the reservation costs.
