The Henry Guest House

We are a historic CITY CENTRE guest house offering a scrumptious breakfast and unrivalled customer service - with 7 bedrooms, 6 bedrooms en-suite, with 1 single room where the bathroom is a PRIVATE BATHROOM, located just 2 steps outside the bedroom. Our rates include a FULL ENGLISH breakfast. All the main sites in the city are within a short walking distance of the house. Car parking is available at various pay & display parks within close proximity to the house, including the new South Gate Centre, just across the street with 850 places.

This is our Premier TWIN bedroom on the second floor. There is an en-suite shower room and and comfortable seating area. Included in the room is complimentary tray with various teas, coffee, etc for your convenience. A hairdryer, iron and ironing board are also available in the room. Our Premier Rooms are our larger bedrooms. One Premier double bedroom is on the first-floor (for our American guests, this means upstairs, not the ground floor at street level) and the other Premier double bedroom is located on the second floor. Both these bedrooms face the courtyard garden at the back of the house. There is an en-suite shower room and and comfortable seating area in both bedrooms. Also included is complimentary tray with various teas, coffee, etc for your convenience. A hairdryer, alarm clock, iron and ironing board are also available in each bedroom.

Our STANDARD DOUBLE bedroom is located on the TOP floor of the house - these are our smaller budget rooms. There is an en-suite shower room. Included in the room is complimentary tray with various teas, coffee, etc for your convenience. A hairdryer and alarm clock are also available in the room. The staircase leading to the top floor is narrow and unfortunately is not suitable for people with mobility problems.

The room has a king size double bed and one single bed, with a pull out second single or alternatively can be four singles beds. The room can be made up to suit your personal requirements. There is an en-suite shower room and separate WC and comfortable seating area. Also included is complimentary tray with various teas, coffee, etc for your convenience. Politiche di pagamento

PAYMENTPOLICY: Unless we specifically agree otherwise a 50% deposit is required to secure your booking and the balance due paid in advance on arrival. We accept most major credit and debit cards but a levy of 2% will be applied to the transaction in order to cover the processing charges imposed on us. THIS INCLUDES DEBIT CARDS.

Politiche di cancellazione

CANCELLATION POLICY: If you cancel more than 7 days before your date of arrival we will not make a charge and refund any deposits paid. If you cancel after that and we are able to re-let your room we will make a charge of 40% of the total cost of the first night’s accommodation. If we are unable to re-let your room we will charge you for the full rate of your stay.
