Our normal cancellation policy is 48 hours prior to 12 noon on the date of arrival, otherwise the cost of the booking will be charged in full. Group bookings and those for special events have different cancellation terms, please see the full terms and conditions on our website.

We don't have a night porter, so if you are attending a wedding or event which may end late, and after the hotel gates are closed, we recommend that you collect your key prior to going to the event. We can provide keys from midday and we'll store your luggage and put it in the room once it's ready. Please ensure that keys are handed in at check out. Regrettably there is a £35 charge for lost keys or those not handed in. If keys are taken by mistake, please let the hotel know as soon as possible, please send back the key to the address printed on the tag, once we have received the key we will refund any lost key charge.

We don't have our own car park, however there is plenty of parking near us. We recommend that you pull up outside the hotel entrance and bring your luggage in. We will check you into your room and then direct you to one of the many parking areas close by, including free on-street parking in front of the hotel which is ideal for midweek or business guests, a fee-paying car park (£2 for 3 hours) within a three minute walk and a free long stay car park a little further away. Payment Policy

Most major credit and debit cards are accepted and will be required in order to confirm a booking.

Payment will be taken two days before arrival unless the booking is subject to special terms and conditions.

Cancellation Policy

All cancellations and booking modifications must be confirmed in writing by email, no verbal cancellations will be accepted.

If your reservation is cancelled after 12 noon 48 hours prior to 12 noon on the date of your arrival you will be charged in full. Please see our full terms and conditions regarding cancellations relating to special events or group bookings. These can be found on our website.

SPECIAL EVENTS
Due to the high demand for rooms at specific times we have a different cancellation policy for these special events which means that we cannot accept any cancellations within 30 days of the first day of the special event commencing. This particularly affects Badminton Horse Trial which has been cancelled in recent times so we strongly recommend that guests take out insurance to cover against unforeseen circumstances. Your booking is still valid should an event you are attending be cancelled.

All cancellations must be in writing. If a cancellation is made within 30 days then the full cost of the reservation will be charged. A 25% deposit for special event bookings will be charged at the time of booking and this is non-refundable. The balance of the payment will be taken 30 days before the commencement date of the event. Any credit cards that are declined must be replaced with a valid card otherwise we may have to cancel the reservation.

Minimum night stays may be applicable to special events and may vary.
