ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE
Check-in is from 3-10pm and check-out at 11am. If you'd like to arrive earlier or leave later then please get in touch with us on the day and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.
RESTAURANT BOOKINGS & OPENING HOURS
Please note that although our bar and restaurant are open seven days a week, we are closed for dinner on Sundays and lunch on Mondays. For lunch or dinner reservations please book at table in advance to ensure you can eat at your preferred time. You can make a reservation directly via our website where you can also view our monthly changing menu; alternatively please email us eat@therosedeal.com.
ROOM AVAILABILITY
All rooms and rates are subject to availability. Where specific rooms have been requested all reasonable effort will be made to honour such requests. Please note that no rooms are held nor reserved until confirmation of full payment has been received.
BOOKING, CANCELLATIONS & NON-ARRIVALS POLICY
To make a reservation we require the full value of the booking to be pre-paid. This is fully refundable subject to our cancellation policy. We can only accept cancellations/amendments via email to stay@therosedeal.com.
To be eligible for a full refund we need notice by 3pm, 21 days prior to arrival; if notice is received by 3pm, between 21 and 14 days prior to arrival you will be eligible for a 50% refund; if after 3pm, 14 days prior to arrival, the total reservation amount will be charged. Any amendment to the original booking is also subject to this cancellation policy.
Please note the 'Dinner On Us' promotion is a non refundable booking and is exempt from our cancellation policy.
For group bookings (i.e. for 3+ rooms) to be eligible for a full refund we need notice by 3pm, 45 days prior to arrival; if notice is received by 3pm, between 45 and 30 days prior to arrival you will be eligible for a 50% refund; if after 3pm, 30 days prior to arrival the total reservation amount will be charged. Any amendment to the original booking is also subject to this cancellation policy.
Cancellations for bookings over Christmas & New Year require 30 days notice to be eligible for a full refund.
No refunds will be made to rooms booked under promotional rates and offers.
Should The Rose be required to close due to government restrictions bookings will either be refunded or rescheduled without charge.
PAYMENT
We accept cash, Visa & Mastercard. Upon check-out all outstanding charges must be paid for in full.
EXTRA BEDS
We are able to provide a complimentary cot for children up to two years of age. Child mattresses (140cm) and bedding is available for children up to 8 years of age at an additional cost of £15 per child, per night. This is only available in our Large/Superior rooms and we can accommodate up to 2 children per room, subject to availability. Please do let us know in advance if you require this. We are unfortunately unable to accommodate extra beds for adults.
PETS
The Rose can accept a limited number of small, well-trained dogs in some of our hotel rooms at our discretion. To cover extra cleaning there is a charge of £20 per dog. Please enquire about availability. We will need to know the breed of your dog before accepting the reservation. This charge does not apply to Guide or Assistance dogs.
DAMAGE
We reserve the right to charge your credit/debit card for any damages done to your room or the Hotel during your stay or for any items that are missing when you leave. This includes damage or staining to any of our linen or soft furnishings. We also reserve the right to judge acceptable levels of noise and suitable behaviour that may compromise the enjoyment of other guests. If no reasonable action is taken by the guest when asked to do so, we reserve the right to terminate the booking without being liable for a refund or compensation.
Rooms keys that are not returned upon check-out are subject to a £50 fee.
SMOKING
The Rose is a non-smoking hotel and does not permit smoking in any indoor areas of the hotel. Vaping is also not permitted in any of the hotel building.
DISABLED ACCESS
Unfortunately we do not have a lift at the hotel and therefore do not have wheelchair access to any of our bedrooms. Please contact us directly for more information about disabled access in our bar and dining areas.
PARKING
Unfortunately we do not have on-site parking, however there are two car parks within a 5 minute walk of The Rose at a cost of around £8 per day: St George’s off West Street; or Union Road off the High Street. Note on Saturdays it is advisable to use St George’s as there is a market on a large section of Union Road car park. More information on parking in Deal is available here: Parking In Deal
