BASIC PRINCIPLE
By confirming the reservation, the client explicitly accepts the rules and policies set forth in this document, including the general rules, the reservation policy, the children’s policy and the privacy policy. He/she also agrees to provide reliable information about him/herself and to follow the rules of the hotel.

GENERAL RULES

The Hotel Villa Coco reserves the right of stay of its guests, clients or passengers, who must respect the rules contained in this document.
The client has the unavoidable obligation to check in at the moment of his arrival at the hotel, and to check out at the end of his reservation, respecting the check-in and check-out schedules.
Check-In: 3pm-10pm, Check-Out: 11am
Check-in and check-out times, restaurant, room cleaning, and use of the pool must be respected at all times.
In case of emergency, please consult the telephone numbers on the door of our reception.

The client who on the day of check-out vacates his room after 11:00 am, without prior notice and without justifying his delay, will be fined with the payment of an additional night.
It will be the obligation of the client to pay the extra amounts of his stay at the time that the administration requires it.
The client is responsible for any damage and/or harm caused to himself, to other guests, to employees, or to the infrastructure and equipment of the hotel, and is obliged to pay the corresponding compensation.
For the safekeeping of valuables and money that the client brings with him/her, he/she may use the safety deposit box in his/her room. The hotel management is not responsible for the loss of these items.
The following is expressly prohibited:
Bringing animals into the hotel.
Cutting trees, bushes, branches and flowers.
Littering, washing vehicles and making bonfires.
Cooking in the room. We will charge a fine of $100 if the regulations cannot be followed.
Parking in unassigned parking spaces.
Carrying weapons of any kind.
Making annoying noises and provoking disturbances.
Using hotel equipment for purposes other than its intended use.
Remove from the rooms and common areas any element or furniture.
Occupying appliances with high electrical consumption other than those installed in the rooms.
In general, any act that disturbs or disturbs other guests.
Regulations for the use of the swimming pool:
. No smoking and no littering in the pool and park.

It is forbidden to bring coolers to the pool or social areas.
Do not occupy the pool during maintenance hours.
Use the pool towels that you find in your room.
Do not enter the pool perimeter with glass objects or food.
Do not run or enter the pool in an inappropriate manner.
Do not urinate in the pool. Use the restrooms in the restaurant.
Do not enter the hotel premises wet.
Babies only with diapers suitable for the pool.
Children under 12 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.
The hotel Villa Coco is not responsible for any type of accident during and after the pool and social areas.
Reservation Policy.

To reserve and guarantee a room, we require a credit card (Visa and Master Card only: cardholder’s name, card number and expiration date). In case you cancel your reservation, please contact us by e-mail and inform us of your cancellation 3 days (business days) prior to your arrival date, otherwise you will be charged a penalty for the full amount of the first night’s rate.

To make a reservation, a credit card must be provided to which a guarantee for 100% of the value of the accommodation will be applied.
Alternatively, the reservation can be guaranteed by making a transfer paying 100% of the lodging.
The reservation can be cancelled or modified according to the cancellation policies on our website (With the flexible rate you can cancel up to 3 days before check-in without penalty).
Reservations cancelled within the penalty period and no show (no show at the hotel) will not be refunded.
Children policy.

For reservation purposes, children and infants from 0 years old count as adults and must be included in the total number of guests.
In rooms with king size bed, a child under 6 years old can be added as an extra using the available bed. We do not have extra beds.
Children 12 years of age and older pay as an adult.

Privacy policy.

Hotel Villa Coco is aware of all legal regulations and is conscious of the importance of privacy of information.
The information that our clients give us will not be given to third parties under any circumstances and for any use.
The information will be kept in strict confidentiality and will only be used to maintain commercial contact.
The computer systems of the hotel Villa Coco have all the necessary security protocols to maintain the protection of the information.
Our clients have the right to access the information they have previously provided, rectify it, oppose to its treatment or cancel it.
Note:

If this is your first time in Santa Catalina, we suggest you consider the following important points:

– Santa Catalina is a unique, rural and natural destination, without first world infrastructure; located 5 to 6 hours from Panama City and 2 to 3 hours from Santiago City; The internet signal (WIFI) can be somewhat slow and unstable.

– There are no banks or ATMs in Santa Catalina, so we recommend that you bring enough cash for the various activities that will take place.

– There is no gas station, so we recommend that you fill up your car in the city of Santiago or Soná, before arriving in Santa Catalina.

Payment Policy

Villa Coco accepts Mastercard/Visa cards and reserves the right to temporarily hold an amount prior to arrival.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation policy may vary according of the rate.
*FULLY FLEXIBLE*
Fully Flexible before 5 days of arrival, can cancel, postpone and modify the reservation without any penalty.
The following terms apply within 5 days of arrival: This rate does not allow changes or refunds within 5 days. In case of cancellation no refund will be made. If you modify your reservation, this deposit is not refundable.
Modification, Cancellation, Early departure and No Show of the reservation applies full penalty for stay.
