Limitation of Liability Statement:
After making your reservation, you may contact the property directly for confirmation you have reserved the cottage that best suits your preferences. It is a great idea to make certain via email that your reservation is valid and confirmed, but send a text message to 561-388-9989 (USA Contact #) or call toll free 866-957-4403 or 866-957-4403 if you are unsure of any details or have additional questions -- it just makes good sense! The Whistling Bird is located in Jamaica and is where the agreement, customs, and delivery is made. At all times proper caution and due diligence is exercised and the company, owners, or agents accept no responsibility for accidents, injury, damages, losses, or delays beyond our control, on or off the property, or due to the control or actions of any company used for carrying out services for your holiday, or for recreational activities you may undertake. Water sports and activities in the sea are at your own risk. You are using Private Independent Business People to provide items like transport, tours, snorkeling, etc. We don't generally accept conditional bookings, and always attempt to accommodate walk-in business, last minute or special requests. Check-outs before the scheduled departure forfeit the unused and remaining time, and is not eligible to be refunded. Cancellations last minute, no shows, changes of guests mind or reservations made last minute and canceled last minute all attract a service charge equal to 50% of the deposit or 50% of the reservation and in any case, not less than the equivalent of one night of the published rack rate. Proceeding to make a reservation is your confirmation that you understand this and your acceptance of this important part of the general terms and conditions.

In Jamaica it is recommended to email and CALL about changes or other arrangements (like delayed airport pickup or time or travel date changes). Familiarize your self with the most recent protocols regarding travel and the impact of Covid-19. New requirements are in place that can substantially impact your travel. Details are available from the contact points above or at www.WBFAQ.com. Please be sure that you have the following before you depart, proof of citizenship (ask us or the airlines if you are not absolutely sure if yours is right) and return ticket to the US (necessary and be absolutely sure yours is right) and the return ticket to the US is necessary to be allowed into Jamaica. Bring any pharmacy items or sundry items you may need like sunscreen, mosquito spray, medicinal remedies. This statement for your information. Be sure to inquire of your agent if you think you may need 'cancellation insurance' as reservations are not refundable in smaller private accommodations such as ours. Finally, be sure we have been provided the correct number of people in your party so the staff will be prepared.

Payment Policy

50 % is due as a deposit to make a reservation, the remainder of your reservation is due 30 days before check in.

Payment may be made by Visa, Master Card, Zelle, cash or paper check drawn on a USA Bank. Please contact us if you have further questions.

Payments made by any form that may be dishonored and/or reversed will attract additional fees and charges that may be incurred to secure the collection of the dishonored or rejected payment.

Cancellation Policy

All cancellations, including those made 30 days or more before check-in, are subject to a cancellation fee which will be deducted from the deposit as follows: December 1 through June 1 the fee is equivalent to 2 nights rack rate, and the remainder of the year, the cancellation fee is 1 night rack rate. Cancellations within 10 days of check-in will forfeit the deposit, but not to exceed 50% of the reservation. Cancellations requests 11 to 29 days before check-in are subject to a 35% fee. No-shows subject to a minimum fee of 50% of the reservation. If requesting a cancellation you must do so by email and must be made by the party who made the reservation and include the email and phone number appearing on the reservation and the date of check-in.

All of the Terms and Conditions and Policies are not independent of each other and all portions of the information provided is in full force and effect. Any cancellation will attract a service fee, although a credit for all or portion may be issued for future use.
