Grays Boutique B&B

Grays is a family-owned and run boutique bed & breakfast in the heart of Bath. Grays is set in a peaceful Victorian villa in a quiet residential area on the southern slopes of the city, with spectacular views over the City. We offer car parking but only one car per room and all cars must be removed on check out whilst we are just a gentle 12-15 minute walk from the centre of the city and 10 minutes from the rail station. Our guiding principle is to offer exceptional accommodation and service, to make our guests feel they are ‘home from home’ and to make your stay in Bath to be one you remember. We believe that a few things about a boutique bed and breakfast hotel are key – very comfortable beds, immaculate bathrooms, welcoming guest areas, fresh flowers and a hearty breakfast with plenty of choice, combined with a high standard of service in a convenient location. That is what Grays is all about.

With just 12 bedrooms, you can be assured of a warm welcome and friendly, personal service throughout your stay with us. Each of our beautiful bedrooms is individually decorated with an eclectic mix of antique style French furniture and lighting and decorated with cool, calm colour schemes. We have classic doubles to deluxe SuperKing rooms, all with high-standard en-suite facilities and featuring a flat-screen LED Freeview TV, Wi-Fi, hospitality tray, hairdryer and REN toiletries.

We offer freshly-prepared traditional English and/or Continental breakfast, as well as fresh berries, fruit, cereals and yoghurt using locally-sourced foods wherever possible, served in our welcoming, light and spacious breakfast room. We offer plenty of choice and variety for breakfast to set you up for the day!

For the avoidance of doubt, please note that the MAXIMUM occupancy for all our rooms is 2 people and that infants and children under the age of 12 are not accepted.

ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE
Check-in time - our standard check-in times are between 15:00 and 19.00 hours. If you wish to arrive before 15.00, we will do our best to arrange a check-in or hold your luggage until your room is ready. If you expect to arrive after 19.00, please ask us for details for our late arrival key-safe facility.

Payment Policy

RESERVATIONS
Rooms may be reserved online with a valid credit/debit card.

STANDARD BED & BREAKFAST RATE - PAYMENT TERMS: 5 days before your arrival date we will charge the full price of your booking to the card you provided with your reservation, once you are inside our cancellation policy period. Should you make a booking less than 5 days before your arrival, we will charge your card at the point of booking. If your card is declined, please be aware that your booking will be cancelled.

We also reserve the right to pre-authorize your card 5 days or less ahead of your arrival date.

ADVANCE PURCHASE RATE BOOKINGS: Payment is due in full at the point of booking and all payments are non-refundable.

GROUP BOOKINGS (3 or more rooms): To secure a group booking we require a non-refundable deposit of 10% of the total booking cost at the time of booking.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations for our STANDARD BED & BREAKFAST RATE must be made by email at least 5 days prior to your planned arrival date to receive a refund of any previous payment. In the event of you cancelling a booking, we will send a confirmation email to you. If you cancel less than 5 days before your due arrival date or not arrive at the hotel (‘no show’), we will charge your credit/debit card with the FULL value of your booking. In the event of bad weather conditions, Grays will fully apply our cancellation policy, as above.

For ADVANCE PURCHASE RATE BOOKINGS, as per the terms for these offers, no refunds are available.
